NFL Mock Draft 2026

I want to know why everyone has bailed on arch?
3rd year college football player and bad accuracy/touch to me. 3 years all in same system and looks sporadic. In a QB friendly system at that. I don’t care for the frame either

Needs to develop as a pocket passer fast or he’s gonna be an all tools gamble. And I’ll pass at this point. He comes out this year while playing status quo no way in hell

Yeesh you are trading completely out of round 1? wtf

Why not just punt til 2028 while we are at it 😡
The roster is similar to an expansion franchise. It needs massive infusions of talent. So yeah, trading completely out of the first round and picking up multiple second and third round picks would be my strategy. It actually hastens the complete rebuild, and is a more aggressive version of what Jimmy Johnson did in 1996 and 1997.

I am going against my own advice and drafting a quarterback next year - just not in the first round.

If I didn't trade down, here's an example of who I think that they should target.

Because we watched him pass, missing wide open receivers? He's not consistently accurate, which is a top-two trait. With very few exceptions, that doesn't improve in the NFL. The sample size is still rather small, but the samples we've seen are not encouraging.

4. QB Fernando Mendoza - Indiana

35. DB Domani Jackson - Alabama

66. DE David Bailey - Texas Tech

75. LB Deontae Lawson - Alabama

106. S Keon Sabb - Alabama

137. OT Xavier Chaplin - Auburn

146. OG Keylan Rutledge - Georgia Tech

220. TE Eli Stowers - Vanderbilt

Why you keep throwing out that 3rd year thing. First year starter.

Redshirt sophomore right.

I don’t care that he’s a first year starter he’s not fresh out of high school. He’s riding that last name. 3rd year college quarterback all with same coach and same system. Heck I think he threw 100 passes last year too even if in mop up duty.

Who? Being a "really good" NFL QB and being a star QB is 2 different things.
Yeah, I don’t typically proclaim someone as a star NFL QB until they play a little while in the NFL. There are some really good prospects who I think have greats chances of becoming good NFL QB’s.

Mendoza
Green
Moore
Maiava
Simpson
King
Chambliss

There are others. Will they all pan out? Doubtful. But this isn’t a weak class like some believe.

lol Cade Klubnik. I hope Miami isn't wasting any low tier picks on a QB. Need to fill out the roster with as many players that actually have a chance to make the team

Everyone, learn these words and repeat them every time you want to try to pick who we should be selecting; just take the BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE!!! Wait and see who is available when your pick comes and take him. No position lacks the needs of improvement.
Don't forget the metrics....no more smurfs
