NFL Week 9 bold predictions: Justin Fields' career day lifts Bears over Dolphins

Marc Ross
Second-year signal-caller Justin Fields has looked more comfortable and confident in the last two games. With Chicago's trade for Chase Claypool giving the offense more playmaking at wide receiver, Fields enjoys a breakout game against Miami, logging his first career 300-yard passing performance while guiding the Bears to their fourth win of the season.

It could happen. We barely beat the lions and Steelers. It's not like we're playing lights out!!

Anything can happen on any given week. That's why they play the games. Who would have thought that the Bears would go into New England on a Monday night and destroy them. Or for them to put up 29 points in Dallas last week against that defense.

Good, I want to fins to be under the radar, I want them to have a chip on their shoulders all the way to the Super Bowl. Quite frankly I don't like all the attention they are getting.

While I'm a bit nervous about this week's game. I think the media, will beat this drum to death. They've decided, Miami isn't as good as the 5-3 record and the 3-0 start would indicate. And an argument could be made they are right. Especially when you consider the split numbers of the defense on the road vs home.

But they also fail to realize, Tua didn't play in 2 of Miami's losses and got injured and removed in the third.

I'll take my chances with Tua at QB.

And still had a chance to win all three of those games they lost.

We are the better team. It’s not a usual feeling to feel confident every game but we now have the talent to start thinking that way. As long as Tua is healthy I’m confident we can win every game Against any team.

Teams fear us more than we fear them. It’s time we all start believing that.

They just lost their best defensive player and vet player Quinn. Somebody needs to send them a link called ..update. They are reaching. Only thing that happen is a shootout.

The Bears are like most of the NFL. From week to week, it's hard to guess how they'll play.

But, Miami hasn't really had an answer for mobile quarterbacks and that's why this game could be close. I don't expect that Fields will beat the Dolphins with his arm, but they have to limit his success in the run game. That's where he can make a difference.

I do expect Miami will win it in a lower score than expected. Something like 24-17.
