The main announcer guy who's opposite of Rod Woodson (can't remember his name) just said on NFL Network's "Total Access" that if they don't get Donte Stallworth, they will pursue a trade for Randy Moss. Really interesting...
Anyway, based on all the rumors that Stallworth really wants to play in Miami b/c he has a home there, maybe the 'Fins are working out their offer to Donte... and thus, the Pats are making back-up plans. In my mind, the Pats with either Donte or Randy Moss is not a good thing... especially with Welker as their new slot WR.

I hope they get neither. I'd rather have Moss than Stallworth at least based on ability. Stallworth may be fast but he's injury prone and has a few issues. Of course, Moss has that whole lack of enthusiasm gripe about him.

If Moss is willing to open up that soda/frosty/smoothie company of his down here in South Florida, then I'd love to have him.

They can have Moss... judging by his recent performances.. Im surprised people think he's still a legit threat.. It will be a challenge for any team to relight the spark in him.

Yeah, the announcers agree with you. I reported what I heard during the "teazer"... just now I just watched the full update abt the Pats. Both announcers said that Donte is a much better fit in NE b/c he's a much better route runner than Moss. But what really cracked me up was a quote they put on the screen by Rodney Harrison, who was commenting on Moss... I'm paraphrasing, but he pretty much said, "If he'd just shut up and play I wouldn't have a problem with him on my team. But if he starts gettin' out of line, you can be sure me and Teddy (Bruschi) and the other vets wouldn't let it happen for more than a minute..."
The one good point the announcers made is that Brady has a great ability to improvise, and if Moss is open, he'd probably be able to find him. If Moss is anywhere close to as good as he was when he was with Cpep, Brady and him could be scary...

They would be scary I have no doubt that but give me Stallworth thank you very much for no draft choices and I'll use that pick to get a good defensive back.

Umm..crap..damn..ou know..fins should let go of Stallwoth (never really wanted him on first place) And let pats have him, than HAving to plya Randy VS OUR (!!!) Secondary.

Hmm I wonder what pick they'll have to give up though? One of their first rounders in a swap for a lower Raiders choice like the first in the 3rd?

I don't see Moss going to New England because Oakland wants a first rounder and NE won't give one of those away and I think Miami will sign Stallworth sometime during the weekend.

What if we do that and they still trade for Moss?

I find this very funny after hearing how the fans in Green Bay got soo upset that their team was thinking about Randy Moss:sidelol:

With so many WR's in this draft and since the Dolphins have four 1st day draft picks (so far), I don't see the need for either player.

NOOOOO, they can´t have moss, randy moss coupled with tom brady and BB would be a disaster for us, the AFC east, the AFC and the whole NFL
