NFL network showing 84 SB btw Miami and SF right now

Just thought I would letcha know

Thanks for the heads up but I have the game on DVD.

It is real hard for me to watch though.

As I have said before here, that game was on my 18th birthday.

January 20, 1985.

Still a bitter pill to swallow after all these years!

That was hard to watch! They killed our team. Our defense was lost. The offense was also lost in the second half. They walked all over us!!!

It was a crappy end to a magical season.

I was at the Indy game this past season!

Man we should have won that game.

Sorry man.

Did you get caught in the Indianapolis monsoon on the way into the game. We still did the tailgate but I'll tell ya I've never been that wet fully clothed in my life. Beer and the Phins can even make the pouring rain seem appealing.

that game kills me...marino's only shot at the ring

man it sure seems as if the dolphins have had the worst end of those famous games. bu i do take solice in , we sure gave the bears , denver and oakland some good gamse but i cant remember for the life of wanny our biggest wins how would you guys rate our biggest wins.?

Yes, we def had the chance to win that game...And yes, I got caught in that monsoon...Drenched for the whole game pretty much...It was def the worst rain I was ever caught in the middle of. even going into the bathroon and using the air dryers wasnt enough. Then I wanted to drench myself in tears when they lost

That game still bothers me to this day. We got out coached, and Shula being the best in the biz at adjustments, didn't make any adjustments.

Walsh made an defensive adjustment after Marino and company drove down the field and scored on their first 2 possessions. If I remember correctly, they put in 6 DB's and played with only 1 linebacker for the rest of the game.

Shula could of countered that with shorter underneath routes by the tight end, Joe Rose. And he could of ran plays with having the backs,Tony Nathan, coming out of the backfield, there's no way 1 linebacker could of covered it. Having the backs coming out of the backfiend, and running plays for the TE would of done very well against that scheme that Walsh put in.

Marino could of eaten the 49er defense up throwing short underneath passes, and they could of chipped away 10 yards a clip and ran up and down the field of the 49ers would of stayed in that defense. It would of forced Walsh and company to counter with something else. Instead though, Shula doesn't make an adjustment to the offense, and our O - Line was getting killed, 49er D Lineman in our backfield all night that night. Plus our D couldn't do anything to stop them.

Still makes me sick that game, just one of those games you never forget.
