NFL Network's Top 5 AFC East Breakout Players for 2009

Would you really disagree about anything positive said about us?

Yes, Lou, I would if it was warranted. You've heard me be critical of the Dolphins Front Office when I thought it messed up.

So you think that Sean Smith and Cam Wake aren't capable of breakout season?

I agree with 4 of the 5 but Wake does not belong on this list yet. Most of these guys will be starters or primary backups while Wake seems far from that

Yeah. I can agree with that.

Honestly I think it should be Channing Crowder or Langford. They both did REALLY well in preseason.

It was more of a video about which young players will have an impact..not breakout players. And you really can't have a breakout year as a rookie, that doesn't even make sense to how I look at the word. The three that weren't Dolphins I could see having bigger impacts this year, Hopefully Crowder can, and maybe Wake.

Without reading it, I thought Ronnie Brown would be on that list. He had a good year last season, but I still feel like he is a RB that needs to go well over 1000 yards rushing for a season. I hope he has his biggest year yet.

Sean Smith is the popular pick. We'll see if he isn't a fast starter and then tapers off. Or maybe he is a complete superstar who will be that way from start until retirement. We'll see.

i think with our OL this year we will be able to have to RB with over 1000 yards, yes i do think it is possible for the RnR Express to BOTH have over 1000 yards!

Who is it, my computer and DSL sucks the video won't play.
5 - LB Cameron Wake (as pass rushing specialist)
4 - WR Chansi Stuckey, Jets (as slot receiver/starter - replacement for Laverneus Coles)
3 - CB Sean Smith (as starting CB)
2 - SS Brandon Meriweather, Patriots (as starting SS - replacement for Rodney Harrison)
1 - RB Fred Jackson, Bills (as starting RB in interim)
