I don’t like to call anyone a star after one game. I think it’s more likely than not that he’ll look more like a 2nd round rookie for most of this season. I didn’t see the game, but it looks like he had 1 tackle and 3 passes defended. It was the Saints and Rattler they were facing, after all.

Let’s not forget the reason he fell in the first place- a rumored degenerative knee condition. Grier’s penchant for injured talent was thankfully absent this draft.

I’m not saying he won’t be good, or even that his career will be shorter because of the knee, but I’m glad he’s not on the Phins with their training staff’s record.

He was selected 47 just before our original selection of 48 although since we traded up we could have selected him instead of Jonah S. Thats probably what we should have done and also selected Warren instead of Grant.
 


Now this is how you build a young competent Oline. To think Miami was interested in both Mims and Rivers, who were both brought into Miami's HQ for pre draft visits.

Its really sucks being a Dolphins fan at times. Why is it we fans get it right more than the GM? Drives me nuts.
