NFL Power Rankings 2015: USA Today

That's the USA Today subjective power ratings version, not the numerical Jeff Sagarin version.

Dallas 18th?

They really must think Demarco carried them . . . little do they know the oline had a little something to do with it . . . .and the unit GOT BETTER.

The Bills are getting seriously overrated right now...the Jets are the main competition to me without a doubt.

Not sure i agree. The bills have McCoy at least. The jets have a bunch of WRs i know but their QB is meh

Not enough barstools in those Power Rankings! We demand more barstools!!!

They aren't really power rankings if they are based on guesswork. That's my only issue. If you want to call them Preference Rankings, that would be more accurate. The terms power ranking or power rating should be reserved for numbers-based material.

Football isn't the only violator. Golf Channel now uses player power ratings on one of its weekly programs. It's the same impatient philosophy: Fans don't like true power ratings because they are not subject to wild swings in a short period of time. A team or player can flop and still lead the power ratings, like Tiger Woods did even when he was early in his slump. Fans prefer here-and-now ratings, something based on last week alone, and where we're allowed to move Dallas 10 or 14 spots without playing a game or based on only one game. Notice they drop to 18 in the OP link.

BTW, Bar Stool isn't the term that inspires the most grief. On other sites posters don't like it when I use the term SAM, which stands for Simplistic Angry Male. Quite a blend, actually. Most pure SAMs are also Bar Stoolers. Be very scared and make sure to overreact and over adjust. Then it's been a full day.

The Jill's will need to throw the ball at some point in windy buffalo to take 9 out of the box. I don't see Cassell and his noodle arm surviving up there. Yeah they have a good defense , but is it still a 4-3 or is it Rex's 3-4???? I don't see a NT on that team nor do I see OLB's who dare feared if they do go 3-4. Also, their corners and safeties are used to 4 man front sand that changes everything in the defensive backfield and what they see and understand. If they're a 3-4 that D will be **** for a few years in its transition. I see a lot of pricey 4-3 fits and that is not Rex's style. You don't just change who and what you are and what you know because you changed teams! I think people assume Rex will just waltz in and create a winner, I think he creates major problems there and is not a fit for that team as it is currently built.

So what they have McCoy, there's reason why PHI got rid of him, mainly because of his problem with running for losses and other negative reasons too. He is exciting, but with Cassell and 1 wideout I do not see McCoy flourishing in Buffalo. Just a strange strange move going after Rex and Shady, neither are fits for them and neither were needs for them based off of how they finished last year.

IMHO I feel they will be the bottom dweller of the division and this will blow up in their face. It was asinine what that FO has done to this team, as I saw them as a legit threat to us the next few years. I do not feel that way whatsoever now.

Most overhyped team this year will be Buffalo. That's a lot to live up to. And rarely pans out.
