3rd? Is this list serious?

Even the biggest of homers could not rank us 3rd without admitting it was a huge homer job.

If someone ranked us 3rd in the AFC right now, I could almost buy it. But, 3rd in the NFL is preposterous.

It's based purely on analytics and various performance metrics. Statistically, we are REALLY good. :idk:

I could see us ranked anywhere from 3 to 6 in the AFC, but that is only if Tannehill continues playing close to what he has the past 4 weeks. Rapistberger and that Steelers O are running on high octane right now and the Colts and Chefs are playing well too.

I think this year has totally changed as far as upper echelon teams in the conferences go and that both conferences are much more even. In the NFC the Hawks appear somewhat to be on a SB hangover, the 49ers locker room/coaching division may finally be catching up with them, the Saints D is not stepping up and does anyone really have any faith in the Cardinals, Cowboys or Eagles. Meanwhile the Broncos and Patsies are still chugging right along, the Colts only seem to get better, and the Steelers and Fins offenses are finally starting to click. Also all of the teams defenses have gotten better over the last year as wel. This is going to be a great year to watch football down the stretch and the playoffs because I feel there are multiple teams, who if they get hot at the right time, have a chance at winning the SB. I just hope the Fins don't peak to early.

Everyone that plays us is a media darling team. More media root against us than pick us. I heard a lot of haters say Chicago was going to wipe the floor with us cause they're WRs are so tall and our DBs are so small, heard media members say we would be lucky to score a TD against the Packers and how weak our division is and we would get blown out 31-13 against the Pack at home, and again this week...no way San Diego loses three in a row they're going to come into Miami angry...blah, blah, blah.

3rd is way too high, but I will say this... every victory had been a decisive one and we are definitely trending upward. Should be 6-2, but either way, 3rd is way too high.
