29. Dolphins: Ted Ginn, Greg Camarillo, Davone Bess, Patrick Turner, Brandon London, Ernest Wilford, Brian Hartline, Anthony Armstrong, Chris Williams, Brennan Martin; TE: Anthony Fasano, David Martin, John Nalbone, Joey Haynos, Jared Bronson, Sir'Vincent Rogers

Somewhere, Mark Duper and Mark Clayton have to be shaking their heads. For those of you born after Dan Marino was breaking passing records weekly in the '80s, Duper and Clayton formed football's most exciting WR duo. Last year's Miami receiving leader was Ted Ginn, who ranked outside the NFL's top 40 in both catches and yards. Mark this down as a make-or-break year for Ginn, the former top 10 pick and the only game-breaking talent at WR on the team. Davone Bess was a surprise as a rookie in '08, and the team hopes he can build on his success (54 catches, 554 yards). But this group is grimm unless Ginn takes a big step forward.

Maybe comcast should stick to getting their internet better than trying to post illogical reports

This is reason enough to not take these rankings seriously.

The Bears are ranked 27th and this is what FoxSports had to say about them.

The team continues trying to convince everyone that kick return star Devin Hester is ready to be the No. 1 receiver in town and upgrade from his career-high 51 catches last season. But Chicago's current Nos. 2-4 guys combined for as many catches and your un-esteemed author — nada, zilch, zippo.
So how does a team whose number 2-4 receivers has fewer combined catches than Brandon London gets ranked above the Dolphins? Does having a Pro Bowl QB make that much of a difference? We'll see.

The writers always like to have one superstar to pin the success of the team on like Steve Smith, T.O., Ocho Cinco, Randy Moss, etc. As was previously stated, we were 10th in passing yards last year and had four decent-good receivers (Bess, Camarillo, Fasano, and Ginn) but no dominant receiver. Thus, according to the writer morons, we are sorely lacking. I guarantee you that if Ginn would have had 100+ catches and 1000+ yards at the expense of the other's statistics - subtract the catches and yards from Bess, Cam, and Fasano - we would be ranked much higher even though the total output is the same. For a sports writer, name recognition and status is much greater than team accomplishment. This is the reason we continue to be underrated, we have no superstars outside of Joey P. and Jason T. but have a very solid team as a whole. Let them underestimate and see how well that turns out for them!

I also dont believe any of this crap really matters, THIS TEAM knows it has alot of unfinished business to take care of, this team is extremely well Disciplined, all BUSINESS, ALL THE TIME. Imo this team has a chance to be VERY SPECIAL this year. When you hear a guy like Jason Taylor say he would run through a brick wall for his team, just one year removed from being traded away, that should tell you all you need know about the mindset of everyone associated with the Miami Dolphins. I have not felt this good about a Miami Dolphins Team in a LONG time.

Lets Go Miami.

We live in a Sportscenter world so of course no flashy WRs or TEs will make the media think the team is mucho boring.

Wr's and TE's 29th ?

I really like our set of TE's, Martin wasant a good starter, but we fixed that when we got Fasano, Martin is a quality backup though, Haynos is improving nicely and if rookie Nalbone pans out we should be looking good at TE for a long time.

At WR im one of the few that think that Ginn will eventually pan out as a quality # 1 WR, im hoping Turner can develop into a Terrel Owens type (without the headcase problems) for our # 2 WR or at least be that big red zone target we need at 3rd or 4th WR, Bess and Camirillo are nice slot WR's, i think Bess will end up being a great #3 WR, we could use another burner to help Ginn stretch the field and open things up underneath though

I would think we were anywhere from 20th to 25th at WR/TE, 29th is too low.

Critics of the Fins must have fetish for being wrong.

Parcells and Co are doing a gret job and are bringing us back to greatness much faster than we thought possible, and it was done without using future draft picks or getting into cap trouble.

I hope this is the year we finally put the Cheatriots in thier place (2nd place) for good.

Our group was very strong last year, these rankers don't even watch games they look at names on a list. Do they even look at stats anymore or are they too lazy for that also? Because it will tell you that we don't deserve to be bottom 10. Middle of the pack somewhere is more like it.
