We may not being getting coverage but we are atleast getting some love...
I love to check the power rankings every week, not necessarily for the ranking itself, but for the little write up. I enjoy seeing what a non beat writer thinks of our team in context of the league overall. This week, the most common sentiment is that we are a "hot" team and it seems to me that we are actually being over estimated as well. None the less, it still is is fun to read positive stuff for once; enjoy!
Wow. The Dolphins' defense came out of nowhere to deliver four fourth-quarter takeaways to an offense in need Sunday. Don't misunderstand: Miami's offense wasn't awful. The Chargers contained Jay Ajayi, while Adam Gase's game plan did not call for Ryan Tannehill to air it out. That's why Kiko Alonso's long interception return for a touchdown ultimately decided the outcome. Maybe people aren't buying into Miami right now, but a team that can run the football and force turnovers always has a chance in December/January, when the competition and weather get rougher.
[talking about the Rams] The Rams traveled 2,500 miles across the country, stole the road win, and now are home to face the red-hot Dolphins (Aqua-hot?)

When the Miami Dolphins fell to 1-4, they landed at No. 29 in our power rankings. Everything seemed bad. Ryan Tannehill was playing so poorly that fans were chanting for Matt Moore and the Dolphins even had horribly unlucky things happening like Laremy Tunsil getting injured by slipping in the shower. One month later, the Dolphins are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. After turning the ball over 11 times in a four-game span, the Dolphins have just one turnover in their last four games and are the first team on the outside looking in in the AFC playoff race.

Is Adam Gase's magic touch rubbing off on Ryan Tannehill? QB has 67% completion rate, 102.4 passer rating during four-game win streak.

Here’s the rest of the Dolphins’ games …
Nov. 20, at Rams
Nov. 27, vs. 49ers
Dec. 4, at Ravens
Dec. 11, vs. Cardinals
Dec. 17, at Jets
Dec. 24, at Bills
Jan. 1, vs. Patriots
I can’t rule out the Dolphins going 4-2 in those six games (they’d be underdogs at the Ravens and Bills, but even those aren’t unwinnable games). If they pull that off they’d be 9-6 playing Week 17 against a Patriots team that has the No. 1 seed wrapped up. Pretty fascinating turnaround.

The Dolphins have won four straight behind Jay Ajayi's strong rushing but also behind Ryan Tannehill's improved play. Tannehill has thrown no picks during the four-game winning streak and has taken three sacks total, allowing Ajayi the chance to run. The Dolphins look to make it five straight at Los Angeles in Week 11.

Don’t look now, but the Dolphins are 5-4 after winning four straight. Their schedule is mostly favorable in the coming weeks, which could vault them squarely into the playoff race. If Ryan Tannehill continues to play the way he has (zero interceptions in four games), the Dolphins will be a team no one wants to play.
