NFL preview magazines

I can't believe there are some, like Lindy's, that are already on store shelves... I mean, I understand the need to get the jump and sell issues, but what's the point this early? What in-depth information can they possibly offer us before camps open...

For my money, I'll be holding out for Sporting News and PFW previews, like I do every summer...

Anyhow, what is your favorite annual NFL preview mag, if any?

I'm a big sporting news fan also. I also love the NFL preview that Playboy does!!:wink:

Sporting news is real good, my gym gets them by the bundles, saves me money on buying them.:D

agreed... i love the daily camp reports that ESPN does through august...

still, i like PFW's preview magazine... not the fantasy mag, but the teams themselves...

that's a good rag and it is easier for me to read paper print...feet up, cold one... I've just gotten pretty lazy about it.

well I live in a small town too...check any place in your area that sells magazines.

Lindy's and Athlon are the top 2, IMO. If you're looking for depth, those are the way to go.

Street and Smith's is OK, and I'm not a fan of PFW.

But PFW put out a solid draft magazine, I'll give them that.

i'm sorry... but LIndy's and Athlon are routinely the first on the shelves, and exactly the least informative of them all, IMHO... lindy's has become a joke... and Athlon spreads out the leading on their essays like it's 6th grade reading...

yea...I mean, not all of them will have them, but someone should. Even like 7 11 or Quick Chek, check those as well.
