How does Ricky Williams get suspended for smoking grass for a year but then New England gets a fine for filming other peoples signals and practices something must happen......

P.S. do u ever wonder whats on the tapes that the commisioner destroyed. What is he hiding from the people..... is it something that could hurt the NFL or something that might ruin the superbowls that NE won....

I wanna hear opinions
 
To me, they've already ruined the superbowls they won.

They've admitted to stealing signals in an AFC championship game. You don;t win the superbowl, if you don;t win the AFC championship, period.

In my opinion, The AFC championshipshould be treated just the same as if it were a superbowl. It's the second biggest game of the season.

Definitely. Especially since the AFC is a much harder conference to win in. Not that there aren't good teams in the NFC, there are just more good teams in the AFC.
 
Everyone cheats. I dont care what was on the films. The patriots were still the better team in every game they won.

AS for Ricky, he got caught FOUR TIMES. If anything its ridiculous that they give you 4 strikes.

I don't know about that. I still think the Ravens won that game and bad calls took it away. I'm almost prepared to say that about the Giants game as well, but that one seemed a little less suspect.

The Ravens coaching staff is the reason they lost. If the defensive cordinator doesn't call a time out. The Ravens D stops the Pats on 4th and short!

Good point, but regardless on Ricky's second offense he was still suspended for four games. The patriots got a warning a couple years ago for video taping signals at a Packers game and on the second time they were still only fined.

:lol:YES i think your the first one to know where thats from! I've explained it to people and they don't even know.

and yeah, I'll admit that ravens game didnt leave a very good taste in my mouth either. I don't think it was cheating though, just unlucky.
 
Must be the decade of cheating. Barry Bonds, New England Patiots, Marion Jones (track star), etc.
Proven and admitted cheaters. How sad are we as a whole that people can cheat, and those in charge merely sweep it away until we give up and forget about it.

So much for truth and honor. We have soldiers valiantly defend and die for those two small things, and we have commissioners so readily to ignore them because they affect the bottom line of profit.

I can't help it. I have a photographic memory of useless facts.

My main problem, though is that teams playing against the Patriots have a mysterious tendency to get those unlucky called games, especially towards the end of the season when the Pats started to fall apart but somehow managed to come out on top every time.
 
LOL yes I remember that one, I prefer Family Guy but ya can't knock the Simpsons and Futurama.
