We also have strength of schedule broken down by season segment. We decided to do it game-by-game rather than by month because (1) the season ends on January 1, and (2) doing so allows us to compare schedules with an equal number of games, rather than comparing a team that has four games in a certain month to one that has three.

No team closes with a tougher slate of games than the Dolphins (0.672). That stretch features the Cardinals, Jets, Bills, and Patriots.

Going to be a tough schedule and it will interesting to see how this team and coaching staff respond during the season.

Did I read that right? We have an easier schedule than the patriots?? Wow. Great news.

These stats are always interesting because there are always some teams that surprise one way or another during the year.

Miami has 13/16 games in the eastern time zone. The 3 outside the ET zone are Los Angeles, Seattle and San Diego

This team must win 4 division games and go 6-2 at home to have any shot at the playoffs.

We finish with the Jets and Bill's up there in the middle of winter then the Pats at home.

What i'm looking for is a strong finish for a change . Hopefully the playoffs await but regardless these games will again decide our season.

So, you're telling me that the Dolphins should be in playoff contention once they start the last four? I've seen this story before.

But seriously, this does give me a better feeling about the schedule. Hopefully they can get in a groove before those last four and win two of four.

If the Dolphins are going to make a run for the playoffs they need to take advantage of games five through twelve.

Yep..
Only thing is injuries and other factors often make these pre-season schedule evaluations irrelevent.

I believe its more about how they play, stay healthy etc etc......then it won't matter who they play.

Bottomline...if they do well in the division they will be alright...if they killed in the division they won't.
