I know that I waited until the checkered flag is about to drop to get the package but I used to have a link that would stream all of the games in every sport for free! Now that that site has been seized by the Dept. of Homeland Security, because they have nothing better to do than seize a sports streaming site, I am forced to sign up for The Ticket. When I went to Youtube's site, however, and saw the price I almost fell out of my chair. Are there any codes or discounts around? Thanks!!

To be fair, DHS needs something to keep busy right now. I think you can still get a discount if you're a student or a veteran. Google/youtube don't make it too easy to find that though.

Might as well watch it on big screen tv makes it worth the cost.

You gotta do 1 of 3 things my friend:

1. Use a friend/family member’s college email for the $199

2. Get in on the early bird renewal special around March for about half the total price

3. Find Time Machine and go back a few days prior to 8/30/2024 when it was like $100+ cheaper

At this time you’re basically paying retail for a sales item. You can wait until week 2 or so and see if they have any deals once the season starts.

For me, even though I’m local (Dolphins games) it’s worth it. I basically subbed it for Season Tix since I prefer watching at home and my son and I dedicate all of Sundays to NFL football.

Number 2 never happened this year. Most they did was $100 off.

There were/are options in the other thread to get discounts and free services.

Sunday Ticket has gotten too expensive, it almost makes you wish; Directv still had it. They would always give great discounts. But unfortunately it was also unprofitable for them. Youtube and others aren't going to lose money, no chance they take a loss.

They had $100 off but you needed to sign up like 3 months ago to get it.

I think now your ****ed.

I'd call every year they offered a "new sign up discount" and demand to get the same offer and every year they would be like "Okay, well do it"

I'd stated several times how much I hated having to have DirecTV to get the Ticket. But I usually added that I feared if they did lose it, I'd be worse off. After the initial contract, I either got the Ticket for free, or on a couple occasions, just a very deep discount.

And now it's so much worse, as I feared.

Not in regards to the price.

But I'm pretty sure in you get the YouTube TV app on your smart TV or gaming console, you can watch on a TV.
