On NFL NETWORK Payton Manning was doing a promotion for the Super Fan (extra package for NFL SUNDAY TICKET subscribers). This Sunday, and this Sunday only EVERYONE (Sunday Tic) will get the Super Fan package to see if they like it. Just thought you would like to know. :D

Go Fins!!!

Sunday Ticket is a F-ing shame. They charge waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much money for what you get. I understand the fact that it is nice to watch the game at home but it is still a rip off. I mean for the money you spend per week you could go to a local sports bar and drink and eat damn near

I disagree, and I'm sure half the people on this board will agree with me, but the amount I'd spend at a local bar would greatly exceed the amount for the Sunday ticket. Maybe that has something to do with living in LA though...

Then don't buy it and go to a bar! :shakeno:

Best money I ever spent. TiVo makes it the absolute bomb. No more hurry home from church. No more wasting time on commercials and half time.

I was about to say the same thing... :D

I love watching the game in HD. However, I can't justifiy to the wife on spending another $500 on a HD Tivo receiver just for the games. I guess I have to wait and watch it in regular broadcast.

does anyone know if brighthouse in tampa offers anything like that?

i would love to be able to watch my fins every week.

The HD TIVO Receiver is now $299.00 with a $100.00 mail-in rebate. I had it installed last week.

Where at? I called last night and snot nosed punk told me they were $500. I even asked for the customer retention department and he told me they were not available.

those discounted HD tivo receivers arent really worth it...

they are discounting them because they have a new bird going up thats going to offer better mpeg compression schemes..

not sure if it will make the current ones obsolete but even if it doesnt im sure the newer ones will offer a better picture, longer record time and possible other features...

just a heads up

Here is the link with the phone number to call, and yes a new format will be coming out sometime next year. To myself is was worth the price to install the HD TIVO.
