NFL to OK Bills' annual game in Toronto

TSN ( canada's cheap version of ESPN lol ) was saying today that the bills would play 8 games through 5 years at toronto !!! now that's good news to me ! more chances to se my phins :D:D:D god i hope they play them at toronto .... and another upside is the weather factor will be nonexistent since it's a dome :)

The price is rediculous and the lottery will include very few seats because the first priority will go to the season ticket holders for the Toronto Argonauts (25,000), Hamilton Tiger Cats (10,000) and the Buffalo Bills (40,000 ????? unsure about this number) so that means there are NO seats available for lottrey because the Rogers Centre only seats 60,000 in football configuration... so MANY Canadians will be buying season tickets to the Argo's ($400 - $700/ seat for 10 games) which gives them FIRST right to choose any seat for the 8 Buffalo games.

Now the price... once you choose your seats, you must pay for all 8 games (5 regular season and 3 pre season games) the AVERAGE price per seat is $250! so two seats will cost $4000, thats a helluva a lot of money for one game a year over the next 5 years and then 3 sparatic preseason games.... ESPECIALLY being the bills.

Now something of interest is that for this season at least the Bills CANNOT interfere with the Argo's season, which ends in November... which takes a cold weather game away from the Bills and puts them into a artificial turf dome... benefit the Bills opponent IMO.

Now i must say that all of this info came from the fan 590 (590 am) I am a co-op student that does data entry and have nothing better to do than listen to the radio... especially when ANY NFL news come up...not too often in Canada.

On a side note, they expect 300,000 people to get on the lottery list.

Nah Nah Nah Nah
Nah Nah Nah Nah
Hey Hey Hey
GOODBYE!!

Beginning of the end for Buffalo.

I kid because they are a rival....but it kinda sucks. I've been up there for a few games, and I absolutley loved the 'small town' environment with an NFL game thrown right into the middle of it. Me and my buddy were able to walk to the game from his house....and saw hundreds of others doing the same. IMO that was a very unique and very cool experience.

I hear ya!
We go to the Miami @ Buffalo game every year...

Buffalo in T.O will not be a good game day experience... too corporate, no tailgating, EXPENSIVE... it will be easier for me to see a game but the drive to buffalo isn't as bad as the drive to the rogers center.

all in all it will succeed in Canada because TO seems to enjoy overpaying... the cheapest Leafs ticket is like $87....

this is awful for the jills, their fans are very loyal, probably the most loyal i know and it is wrong that this owner is doing this to them, he needs to sell the team, if green bay can afford the packers in a city of 100K then so can buffalo

the problem in buffalo is the lack of corporate sponsorship...the people are already taxed a lot for the bills to stay there...

the thing that draws them to Toronto is the insane amount of disposable income... the maple leafs are among the more expensive tickets in that league too...
is dolphin fans should be happy... it take the weather away from the bills one game a season

the seats at the rogers center in the lower bowl, about 9 rows from the field are far worse than the upper, nose bleed, seats at ralph wilson
