He said that he is a Parcells guy because he is crazy like LT was (but not quite as crazy as LT) He also said that guys are giving 110% in OTAs this year, which wasn't the case last year... He said that he likes the fact that the new regime has come in and is "cracking the whip"

It was good to hear that from Porter. The part about not everyone giving 110 percent last year was funny.... it kind of confirms some of the criticisms some of us had about the last regime.

It's amazing how Porter seems like a totally different guy. I guess for some guys to respond one has to speak their language.

In that episode of 'Total Access' they had a clip from the Redskins season when they played us and granted we were a bad team, but not as bad our record showed. Ugghh! ..we lose to another field goal with no time left to go. That happened several times. How about that play when they kicked it off to us, it bounced off one of our guys right into the hands of one of their guys at the 4yd. line or something. That play pretty much summed up our season...

Maybe that $20 million that we are paying Porter will finally pay off. He was great in Pittsburgh and I know he still has that talent. Sometimes though, you can see he becomes lazy once in a while. Just what I see though. Hope it doesn't happen this year.

Well, with what he said about the coaching staff being tougher and the camps being a lot tougher and yet he seems much happier and more positive. Seems like that could be a good sign for him and for us. Let's hope!

well considering this year the defense WONT look like a bunch of chickens running in circles with their heads cut off, Porter should do better.

I mean they used Porter and Taylor completely wrong last year, among many other players as well.

i saw the video on nfl.com and ricky and ronnie were at joey's camp for the kids helping them out

porter was one of our best players last year and i expect him to be one of them again, for those who thought he didn't have "IT" anymore, be ready for the thrash-talking, *** whooping, boot kicking celebrating Porter in '09 hehe this new regime has our team more intense, physical, basically playing "violent" football instead of being soft and mentally prepared like coach cameron would preach... i agree you need both but the physical part of the game is where any 1-15 team should start and that just falls into JP's lap, i hope he elevates other players to his level of intensity
EDIT: crowder also seems like a crazy mo-fo who can play the game like a serial killer in a shopping mall

I like him, but I think this year he really has to step it up and make some plays, some game changing plays. He's been a steady tackler, but that's it, far from a game changer. I think he has the potential and this staff should be able to get the most out of him, but again, his time is now or never IMO. No more excuses for these guys anymore. Hopefully....

true, like parcells said : " You lose with potential, you win with performance"

Channing has all the potential, he's shown good performance as a run stopper/tackler... now he needs to crank his play up a notch to reach that playmaker status we are all waiting for

I agree 100% Sceeto....Crowder has all the tools to be an elite LB he just needs to put it together. If this is his year, I can't wait to see Crowder come into his own with Porter and Taylor lurking around. Could be fun!!
