porter was one of our best players last year and i expect him to be one of them again, for those who thought he didn't have "IT" anymore, be ready for the thrash-talking, *** whooping, boot kicking celebrating Porter in '09 hehe this new regime has our team more intense, physical, basically playing "violent" football instead of being soft and mentally prepared like coach cameron would preach... i agree you need both but the physical part of the game is where any 1-15 team should start and that just falls into JP's lap, i hope he elevates other players to his level of intensity
EDIT:
crowder also seems like a crazy mo-fo who can play the game like a serial killer in a shopping mall[/quote]
I like him, but I think this year he really has to step it up and make some plays, some game changing plays. He's been a steady tackler, but that's it, far from a game changer. I think he has the potential and this staff should be able to get the most out of him, but again, his time is now or never IMO. No more excuses for these guys anymore. Hopefully....
