NFL Week 11 Mock Draft

That is a really good mock, but I don't see the Texans passing on D'Brick. IMO, he is already a Texan.

u guys can pretty much pencil in all that, dude knows what hes talkin about

but you think chester taylor and jamal lewis is gonna sign back with the ravens? i dunno bout that

That is a really good mock, but I don't see the Texans passing on D'Brick. IMO, he is already a Texan.

That's one of those things where with the first & second picks you have to take the best player available, & I tried to do that with most of the picks & also trying to pair players with the right style of team.

I like what you have done with the first round but I would change several in the 2nd.

Such as? I'd like to hear what you would change.

I think it is really good. Not sure if Carolina need another RB though. Otherwise, great mock. Can't disagree with much.

That is one of those semi-shocking type picks every draft has in the first round.

The things I factored in for that pick are:
-the Panthers are currently 26th in rushing (less than 90 yards per game, last in yards per carry)
-Stephen Davis will be 32 next year & is batter & bruised
-DeShaun Foster is unreliable in terms of health & is an unrestricted free agent
-Eric Shelton is out this year with a torn ACL & will need time to heal
-the Panthers & John Fox definitely favor the power running game
-it is also about where LenDale is projected to go so it seems like a good fit

nice mock, but i see us grabbing zemaitis from penn state in the second round, idk how you could leave him out of the frist two rounds, but besides that, its looking pretty good

There is a clear cut top 5 in cornerbacks right now. Jimmy Williams, Tye Hill, DeMario Minter, Kelly Jennings, & Jason Allen. Then the next 4 are about even between Anwar Phillips, Cedric Griffin, Alan Zemaitis, & Will Blackmon with the consensus being that Zemaitis' team mate Anwar Phillips being the better of the two. Using this logic there are only two CBs off the board when we pick in the 2nd round, so it was between Minter, Jennings, & Allen. If Jason Allen wasn't hurt this pick would be a slam dunk but he falls a little because of the injury.

i had zemaitis going in the first round to the pats in a mock i made a while ago. of course, the patriots were near the bottom of the first round at that point

Santonio Holmes and Derek Hagan you have as the only WRs in round 1, and then in round 2 you have Demetrius Williams, Jason Hill, Chad Jackson and Martin Nance. No criticisms from me, other than wondering where Hank Baskett is in all this, but just wanted to point out what kind of disparity we're seeing as far as the WR position among draft sites and draftniks. This position is not going to look very apparent until we get some Combine measurements, I think. There's certainly no Braylon Edwards or Larry Fitzgerald in this crowd, that's for sure.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Hank Baskett could end up the top WR prospect in the country after the Senior Bowl and Combine.

Great Job... you can tell you put alot of time into it...

Only thing... Jason Allen... We all know this kid is a stud, but I see him falling further down because of the injury. Most teams get scared on draft day of drafting a guy coming off an injury.

I also love D'Qwell Jackson... a great playmaker and nose for the ball. But I think he is also gunna fall some more (to around mid-second) because he is so undersized at 6'0 225lbs...

Also, I am not to sure if Calvin Johnson is eligible to come out... he is a sophomore, but Im not to sure if he was red shirted... but if he does, he will definatly be in the 1st/2nd round...

great job though..
