New Orleans Saints (5-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2), 8:20pm ET - No real impact on the Dolphins, but rooting to see Sad Tom Brady is always fun. Root for: New Orleans.

New England Patriots (2-5) at New York Jets (0-8), 8:15pm ET Monday - I cannot say it, but rooting for the 0-8 team to pick up a win is important - plus we get to root for the Patriots to continue to fall apart. Root for: New Enland loss.

While a 2-5 Patsies team would bring me much joy ( and a crumbling franchise for next 20 years....), I dont like the possibility of the them
getting a sniff at Lawrence. Let the jets lose another one and be in the captains seat for the first pick. Cant imagine seeing Lawrence in a
Patsies uniform....

Root against bills Titans colts raiders. Ravens play colts. I guess root against either. But those are all teams that affect wc or division. I am not thinking about draft picks. Phins up

Well, now I know for whom I want to root.

Personally, I'm not going to root for any AFC teams to lose this year, just so Miami can sneak into the playoffs with a .500 record, to make an early exit and drop a few spots in the draft. I'll root for them to win 10 games and be good enough to make a run.

So I'll continue rooting for/against the same teams. I'm rooting for the Ravens to lose and the Titans to win, and I'm rooting against Pittsburgh, even though they're playing a team I hate, because they're 7-0.

At the other end of the standings, yeah, I'm going to root for the teams with the fewest wins. I'm also lucky that I already hate all Houston teams, so I relish every Texans' loss.

Detroit Lions (3-4) at Minnesota Vikings (2-5), 1pm ET - No real Dolphins impact. Root for: Toss up.

Disagree. Clearly we should be rooting for Minnesota as they are in contention with Houston(Miami) for a top draft pick.

Ditto for Atlanta. Even they said to root for Atlanta, the reasoning was incomplete.

York Giants (1-7) at Washington Football Team (2-5), 1pm ET - Getting teams ahead of the Jets in the NFL Draft order is an important aspect of the season if you are a Dolphins fan. As such, the Giants with one win are closer to moving ahead of the Jets. Root for: Washington

I disagree with this one too. The Giants won’t have the no.1 pick no matter how hard we hope the Jets don’t. Only Jax is really in contention with the Jets there. I’d rather the Giants keep pace with the Texans who I expect to get there second win today.

As bad as I cant stand the Pat... i at least respect them.. I despise the Jets so much more. No respect, zero. Adam Gase is such a loser and an even worse human being. I want to see him lose at all costs. So I'm rooting for a Patriots win for that game.

Vikings up 7-0 after a missed FG by Detroit.

Giants up 3-0 on Washington. I don’t think NYG lose this game.

Houston - Jax tied at 7. Interesting.

Bills taking it hawks.
