I love the line in Gain's profile that says that Keith Newman as a starter doesn't cut it-so accurate-not.

"where the likes of Donnie Spragan and Keith Newman just aren't starting material." Not only is he accurate, Scott Wright is one of the best.

not a very good mock, starting with quinn going to oakland and brohm going to the bucs...

Agreed, Oakland would go CJ @ WR over Quinn @ QB.....

Gaines Adams would be a good fit if we were going to play the 3-4 more time next year. I would try to go OT with a guy like Joe Thomas if he slips to where we pick. I think we will probably pick lower than 6 so we would have a shot at him. My guess is we are picking 4th or 5th.

I'd go OL.

Well Oakland could pick Quinn, if Al Davis has a moment of lucidity.

Well that is one of the worst mock drafts I have seen. I guess the best player in the country and the future heisman winner (Troy Smith) isnt going in the first round??? Peterson from Ok. wont be the first running back taken, Wolf from Northern Illinois will be. I hope since Saben used to coach at Mich St. he will remember that you can't go wrong with lineman from the Big ten (mostly from Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio State. Our other big concern is our cornerbacks. Other teams burn us all the time on the long ball.

Wolfe will not be the first or possibly even the 2nd or 3rd RB taken, the guy is tiny for an NFL RB. And Smith not going in the first round wouldnt be the first time a Heisman winner wasnt taken early.

don't look at stats mate. Troy Smith could be a first rounder, but doesn't have the measurables the teams in the top 10 look for. Wolfe will be a change of pace back in the NFL. Peterson,Lynch,Hunt, Irons, and Leonard will all go before him
