New mocks are saying Matfield and Allen need a year to develop and not worth a top 10 pick... But we are in situation to groom a QB. So it makes sense for us to pull the trigger on Allen right there. Im not impressed with Mayfield. To short and has a rag arm.. Just go to his tape. So many big passes... Guys was wide open.

There is no way in hell we release Suh just to force us to draft a DT at #11. We have 3 young DT's and Hayes who can be a rotational piece on the inside. All signs point towards us getting a DT in day 3 IMHO.

Unfortunately that is a definitely a Tannenbaum thing to do, unnecessarily create a hole to force your hand in the draft.

If we want a DT, we can trade back with Arizona or others needing a QB. No reason to take at 11.

Bucky tends to have some "different" mocks compared to others. For one, he needs to update them and discuss on NFL network to drive viewers, so it can't always be the same. And two, it seems he likes to drive conversations by putting his own opinion into it and not mocking what he thinks the teams will do (more what he would do).

Oh, and if things go bad next season with injuries and dumping some of our vets, we may have a shot at Ed Oliver.....at the very least, Dexter Lawrence, Christian Wilkins or Raekwon Davis.

while that is true, the moves this offseason point more to the idea that maybe he isn't making the moves.
