Nice Article on Jack Hunt

good article, lets hope he pans out and helps us out at saftey b/c god knows we need the help at that pos.
 
That's what I love about Saban.

This article speaks volumes in my opinion. I have yearned for a coach like this since Shula's days of the 80's. Saban has clearly proven himself a man of character and wisdom. He is a coach, a psychologist, a father, an innovater, and a motivater. And he does all of them well. Men of character and toughness follow. He is a Four Star General whose men love to go to battle for him. That is a classic coach and a classic leader.

What shines through with guys like Hunt, Brown, Roth, Crowder, and all of his draft choices, most of the free agents I have followed and most of the UDFA that have come in, they all have similar qualities. They are tough first. They are motivated, usually over-achieving, intense, often highly intelligent, well spoken, and they LOVE the game.

In addition Taylor, Thomas, Seau, Madison all love the game. I expect that we see a prototype defense, heretofore never seen before in the NFL. Dynamic, speedy, powerful, interchangeable and therefore unpredictable. Overtime I expect players will discover new wrinkles and new ways to approach the cohesiveness of the unit. It should be fun to watch....The Bionic Killer Bees.

Jack Hunt is my darkhorse to make the Dolphins team this year. I'm guessing that 3 former LSU players will make the Dolphins team... or at least the practice squad - Safety Jack Hunt, LB Lionel Turner, and DB Travis Daniels. Don't underestimate how much Saban appreciates what Jack Hunt can do. He was the field general during the national championship season. How often do you see a safety calling the defensive plays and making sure everyone is where they are supposed to be?
 
Its always inspiring to see others chase their dreams. I hope he catches on somewhere.
