Good article. Flynn knows the offense.Sign him now.
Build the team and find the next Marino down the road.

We went 11-5 with Chad Pennington at QB. He is 1" taller and 5 lbs heavier than Matt Flynn. He, like Flynn, is not known for his strong arm. But a few things they do share in common? Leadership, Accuracy and Smarts. Those 3 things are the most important qualities a successful QB need to have.

Gosh I really hope we don't sign him, I just wonder when its finally going to end.

Hopefully he is a Dolphin and we have 4 picks in the first 3 rounds to land a WR, TE, DE, and OL. I like the way this is shaping up. We wont win the division this year, but we have a good foundation in place.

I do not want the guy here, we have Matt Moore, don't throw away your money on another AJ Feeley.

I don't understand the criticism of his arm. During the Lions game he threw multiple 40+ yard TD's passes spot on and in stride to his receivers. Looked pretty damn strong to me.

I think his arm IS clearly stronger than Penny's but I doubt he can really zip it in there when he needs to. **** it, we have 4 dank RB's right now, WE DON'T NEED THAT AHOLE Peyton Manning.

I watched Flynn play in the SEC and all he did was win games. Not the Big-10, ACC etc etc, the SEC. He is a winner.

This is the guy I want. I'd spend $8 million a year for Flynn a lot faster then I'd pay $10 million for a 36 year old prima donna.

I HATED THE IDEA OF SIGNING P MANNING!

Given our new HC, signing Flynn and trading away Marshall makes perfect sense.

People got to find something to complain about - his arm may be average but it is no where's near as pathetic as Noodles

I do not fully understand the debacle involving Brandon Marshall and his issues, so I will give the team the benefit of the doubt for dealing him, but if Marshall is cleared and ends up making the Pro Bowl, I really believe this will be the beginning and the end for Philbin.

This whole debacle with Marshall was handled wrong, based on what I have read.

Bottom line, we gotta trust Joe Philbin on this one and hope for the best.

I think Flynn is better than some are giving him credit for, and he'd be coming to play in the same system he left. That's huge.

I am not opposed to giving the guy the role as Starter if he "fails forward" you go QB next year - I am not sure he will cost 8M but I would be careful with the guaranteed money

Flynn made too many good decisions to not be intrigued - still if he fails you have to seek a QB so you draft one this year or look next year

It would be good to be known for grooming QBs - Oh I know this is wishing

If Moore could hang onto the ball and win a game of importance I wouldn't think this signing to be so important -
