Smile, Dolfans, this loss wasn't all bad

Fins lose this fight, but 15 bouts remain

BY DAN LE BATARD

PITTSBURGH -- It is difficult to smile when you feel like throwing up. When you get sucker-punched in a way that leaves you gasping and groping in the sawdust on the barroom floor, your instinct isn't to immediately get up from your wooziness to be proud of what you did in the fight.
But that's how the Miami Dolphins should feel today.
Beaten. Sick. Floored.
But good.
About as good as an 0-1 team can.................................

For the rest of the article, click the link. Don't wanna P.O. any mods.

It happened in less time than it takes you to pull out of your driveway. That's how quickly the night was lost. Pittsburgh was losing and at its own 13-yard line with six minutes left and then, one throw later, this stadium felt like 64,000 kernels popping in the world's largest microwave.

This is so true. When the Steelers got the ball back at their own 13 halfway through the fourth quarter, the jam-packed stadium was eerily quiet. As a Dolphin fan that had been taking a verbal beating from Steelers fans throughout the game, it felt great. Then on one play, the entire stadium erupted and my heart sunk. I could feel a brisk wind behind me from the screams of elated Steelers fans. That breeze continued for the rest of the game, as the fans were louder than ever the whole time the phins were on offense.

Oh, and you should probably get rid of some of that article before a mod sees it.

why, is that some sort of copyright mumbo-jumbo?

wow....I'm usually DISGUSTED by LeBatard & his B.S. articles. He hit the nail right on the head with this one. Too bad Most of our fans can't see it though. They're too busy calling for Daunte's head, the best QB to put on a Dolphins Jersey since good ole Danny boy.
What do they think? Harrington is gonna come out of nowhere to lead us to a 98 Rams type of offense? Get real. THis article says it all.

LOL, he said "Dave Wannstache". Ive never seen an actual reporter use that term. Thought it was only a finheaven/finfan term.

Thats Le Batard though... he's real and he uses "Wannstache" on the radio all the time. I love Dan Le Batard.. but thats just me. As for the article... dead on. I was dreading coming on the board because Dolfans get so negative after ONE game. Lets get into the season a couple more games and THEN make judgements.

We'll get our revenge in the playoffs. Meanwhile, you can bet Buffalo is going to get kicked all around the field in week 2.

I don't read anything this hack releases.

He's one of the biggest schmucks in sports media.

If he had a good article this time, enjoy it because his next 10 will be worthy of toilet paper.

Besides, I don't need this guy telling me the obvious, that our season isn't over because we lost one game on the road to a great team.

Then, after seven hours of surgery and an outside-the-hospital vigil by fans, he recovered only to have his appendix burst. In Thursday's second quarter, on the sidelines, Roethlisberger accidentally caught fire, was attacked by locusts and mauled by a bear. Later, in the locker room, he was attacked by a great white shark.

Hahahhahaha
