nice read on choices we made

Patrick Cobbs has made key contributions to this team and i don't think many people saw that coming. The fact that Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland did shows that they know what they are doing as talent evaluators. I for one was very against getting rid of Chatman and Booker, especially Booker, when it was clear that the reliability of Williams and Brown could not be trusted. Now luckily they've both been very good this year, as has Patrick Cobbs in his limited oppertunities. Just shows why fans can't be GM's.
 
yeah, i liked Booker alot, but I'm an FSU fan, so there was some homerism there... i know he wasn't amazing.. but he could catch the ball and was pretty fast...

cobbs has been very impressive, he blocks well in the wildcat, catches and runs well, even makes special teams plays...
i really love what cobbs is doing..
 
Well I was one of the only ones who hated the Booker pick from the day it happened. I was shocked that anyone else wanted him and will be even more surprised if he is in the league by 2010. Chatman I liked but wasn't upset he left. Cobbs was a complete shock though. I thought they just kept him because he was some sort of special teams guy or something. Wilford has been nothing short of a bust but the jury is still out on Murphy. I think he might be OK next year. We will see.
