Nice Read On Miami's Resiliency

Nice read. Last year it was "why not us?"...this year it's "why stop now?"

A lot of people believe Miami will win the division. The Patriots are in a middle of a collapse. If we win out, we'll win our 14th title.

I agree - this team's resiliency and its ability to overcome directly reflects the personality of their HC. In contrast to Coach Tony's detractors, I believe that the attitude he imparts to his team is far more valuable than any game day miscues he may make while continuing on his HC learning curve.

From losses. From injuries. From lousy moments. This team simply refuses to call it a season. What does that say? It says to me that these players have taken on the personality of their coach, Tony Sparano. If ever there is an example of a man who refuses to quit, who treats every dark dreary day as if sunshine was in the forecast, it is Sparano.

How he handled his players following the Buffalo game and in the days leading up to New England was a huge factor in this upset. He never stopped believing. He never stopped pointing out that the season had plenty of life left in it.

That painting is really good, but does anybody else think our coach looks like dennis franz ?lol

A coach that never allows quitting is definately the kind of coach I want to have leading my team. Miami could've easily just folded when down 14-0, but instead, we came back fighting. Sparano is a pure genius at motivating people and coming up with gameplans. Sure, he's had a couple of questionable gameday decisions, but that's just bumps along the path to becoming an elite head coach. Say what you want about him, but he helps this team more than he hurts it.
