Nice sportsline article on Ginn

Yeah that was a great read and the kid has tons of pressure on him from us and the media. I do hope to see that speed this year though.
 
One of my biggest beefs last year was Ginn's 'quickness'. He didn't seem to explode off the line, and seemed to get jammed on the line of scrimmage. Hard to help your QB out when you aren't getting separation. Especially if you only have 3 seconds.. and like last year, even less than that.

Teams will continue to blitz us like crazy until we can prove that we can beat them at their own game and exploit the holes vacated with out WRs. Wilford may be good for that, but I'm looking for Ginn to make a big improvement. It's not always the big stretch plays, I'll be looking for that separation and quickness from the 0-10 yrd range, enabling him to be a better target for the QBs
 
Biggest problem I had witrh Ginn last year is that inspite of all the whinners and pessimist in Dolphin land and the media he only emassed over 2,000 yards. He took over the #1 position and fine tuned his body to better fit the NFL this entire offseason. What a troublesome 1st rounder he has turned into. Being the Big10 hater I am, he silenced me.
 
Prisco sucks. I really didn't want to read the rest of that crap after reading Ginn being drafted was the reason a 1-15 HC that lost complete control of the team and coaching was fired.

It might just help us that beck is able to get the ball out quickly. His release is rocket quick. and he seems alot better on the shorter routs sometimes then the long ones when under pressure.

With ginns body type, he is more suited for down the field speed
he has long legs and long strides that sometimes will make it harder to get the first push
 
Great read...I expect Ginn to have a couple more punt returns for TDs or kickoff returns because it just seems like we are finally correcting the mental errors that have plagued us during the Wanny-Saban-Cameron eras. I think he had two or three call back last year for holding.
 
i didn't know that about his rookie record...... i like the speed ginn has but he needs to prove he can be the number one guy for this team for years to come. Wouldn't that be funny if the future tandem on this team is a michigan qb throwing to an osu reciever
