Nick O'Leary Cut

I thought O'Leary was on the bubble in pre-season, but he showed well and stuck. He did enough to earn a roster spot and reps during the year … but ultimately, he's not the athlete they want, he's not the size/speed type they want, and his limited ceiling wasn't going to make it in the long run. So, they let him go. I kinda wish they had done that in the pre-season so he could have had a shot with another team who might use him. Alas, the turnover is not finished … we've got a lot of churn yet to see on this roster …. most of the churn hasn't happened yet in fact.

If you take away last years' Bears game, most people wouldn't know his name. Not a terrible player, but not what you look for when you rebuild.

I thought O'Leary would perform better.....but unfortunately he has been a non factor in most every way.
