Miami's officially on Nick Saban alert.

The man may bring a championship team to Dolphin Stadium after all.

The former Dolphins coach, so reviled in South Florida after he left the NFL team following the 2006 season to become the head coach at the University of Alabama, moved his Crimson Tide into prime position to play for the BCS national championship in Miami on Jan. 8 with Saturday's stunning pasting of Georgia.

If the national championship were played today based on the new Associated Press poll, No. 1 Oklahoma would meet No. 2 Alabama.

pssh watever hell lose to a meaningless team just wait they just jinxed it

I hope they lose, I like their freshman WR Julio Jones though..that guy is sick

It's still all about the "U"

My tigers won't be able to get it done this year and that just makes me sad.

I've never seen one conference get so much hype like the SEC does. They crown a different team each week and act as if they are the greatest of all time. I'll give credit to Bama for a HUGE win on the road but the SEC changes each week. Let's just see who wins the conference championship game.

I might just spend $200 to fly down there, buy a ticket to the game, throw as much S#!T I can possibly find at him, get kicked out, then fly home with a big @s$ smile on my face. Sounds like a good vacation for me!

I worry about LSU in Baton Rouge more than any
other team BAMA plays this year.
They are physical on both lines, just like us.

I think Saban's toughest coaching job of the season might be getting this team up to play Kentucky after such build up and climax to the Georgia game....

I don't worry too much about Alabama / LSU....LSU has quarterback issues....but do match up well up front on both lines with Bama.

IMO, Alabama can handle the highly ranked SEC teams because we'll be on our toes...

What I worry about is Bama falling asleep on one these "lesser" SEC teams like Kentucky, Miss St., Ole Miss, etc...

Ole Miss, Tenn, and LSU are all going to be tough games. I think we need to beat LSU for a chance to go to the SEC championship game, but its going to be tough to get a win down there.

ROLL TIDE

P.S. Alabama in Dolphins stadium for the Orange Bowl or the National Championship game would still probably have a better fan base there than the Dolphins do for home games.

Fixed.

We have no problem with our fan base dale. Were not the Marlins. I would love to see Saban make his way down here. Guarantee somebody spits on him cause he's scum. Trust me, you'll see soon enough when he gets the urge to bail on you. He left us a mess but thankfully we got some new guys who can fix it. Alabama sucks monkey nuts!

Yeah you're right....the Marlins have actually won two championships lately....

Dolphins were already a mess before Saban....

If Saban ever stands up there and says..."I'm not going to be the Penn State coach"......I won't believe him....

Just like I didn't believe him when he said..."I'm not going to be the Alabama coach".....I knew better...

I had already listened to Vince Dooley's wife (Barbara), who are good friends with Nick and Terry, say that Saban had made a grave mistake by going for the money Wayne Huizenga offered. Terry and the family never wanted to leave Baton Rouge to begin with. They were miserable in south Florida. Saban had already told Wayne Huizenga "NO" three times! Saban was committed to the money...not the Dolphins....I was already aware of this....nor did I approve of the direction the Dolphins were heading under Saban.

Coaches come and go....that's what they do.....when Saban "gets the urge to leave"...he'll leave....and there will be Bama fans that will hate him for it.

But there will also be those that knew Saban was a hired gun....just like Bill Parcells is....and after he delivers championship #13 to the Crimson Tide....he can go where ever he wants....for Saban to deliver championship #13 in Miami would be just too ironic...lol.

BTW....when you have Bill "I'm here one day, gone the next" Parcells.....those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones....
