Nick's lack of quickness costs Dolphins in end

Did any of you just see what happened in Jacksonville? Parcells threw the flag before the snap. They let the play stand and docked him a time out. What sense does that make? They said the play wasn't challengable.

These officials are morons these days. The league has a serious problem on its hands.

That is rediclous....Sure Nick could have challenges earlier and put the Steelers on the 1 yard line, but to tell me it cost us...gimmie a break. We got beat plain and simple on both sides of the ball offense as well as defense. Stupid penalties, no running game......I could go on.

The challenge wasn't the reason we lost. We lost because Pittsburgh was allowed to make that run in the first place.

And Jimmy James is right, the NFL has a serious officiating problem on its hands, and that problem is already screwing with games.

If Saban had thrown the flag in time, it just would have cost us time off the clock. Pitt is a good team, with a great O-line, and a very good RB. Are you going to tell me they wouldn't have gotten the TD with a first and goal on the 2? All it would have gotten us was time taken off the clock. Time we might have used to score ourselves if the offense hadn't imploaded. We lost because we didn't keep our cool, and Pitt was the better team. Everything else is crap.

But there's always a chance for that turnover just like the fumble by Batch earlier.

why the hell cant we use the ncaa replay system.

They claim there would be too many stoppages to let a guy upstairs handle the review process.

But isn't it way more important to get it right?

I believe the nfl used that system in the mid 80's to early 90's.

Yhey would've had the ball at the 1 and a half yard line anyway. You assume they wouldn't have scored. In actuality, the play should never have gone that far. The coverage should've been better. So the secondary cost us. Or many other well argued points.

nick is fast enough. plenty fast enough.

he was just indecisive in throwing it, he was timid
as he was in the entire game, and that is a BIG
reason we lost, not just his flag flubber!!
