Oakland Raiders star Asomugha was smiling when he brought up the dream scenario, but insisted he was “dead serious” and has spoken to New York Jets coach Rex Ryan about it.

“Me and Revis have been talking to Rex to try to do something,” Asomugha said. “You may see us in the future. There’s a little bit of talk going on. Either he’s coming to Oakland or something else will happen.”

Said Revis: “Me and him have talked about it, but I can’t really control that situation. I don’t know if he can either.”





Would you guys in the AFC East be afraid to pass against a CB duo of Aso and Revis? He also said he would take a pay cut to play on the Jets.
 
Imagine having to go up against Revis and Asomugha twice a year :ohno:
 
That would be nice for the jest, except it wouldn't help them very much when we run them over with Ronnie, Ricky and new draftee CJ Spiller.

:lol: These are all dreams. us getting Asomugha, you getting Spiller and hoping Ricky still plays and Ronnie stays healthy.

obviously if we had Asomugha to go w revis we'd have more bodies to stack the box and shut down your run no matter who was back there but none of this is coming true.
 
Oh well, I am sure that this will not be the last time we hear of stuff like this. This is why hate the off season some times, people get bored and write what ifs every week.

Don't think you would, we would stack the box and be able to have both our CB on 1 on 1 coverage. It would make this defense crazy good.

That said I highly doubt that the Raiders trade Aso, they are too dumb too. If they were smart they would unload him as they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
 
Well if it's guaranteed that when you hear a player wants to go to a particular team, according to some on FH in another thread, Ochocinco, Wilfork and Antrel Rolle will be Dolphins soon. Then we can clash for the universe and the winner will be ruler of the world!
 
That would be horrible the two best corners in the game on the same team I would love to have aso on this team and par him up with Davis or smith IMO aso is better then revis
 
Yes. But it's never going to happen so who really cares. If we had gotten all the players who said they wanted to play for Miami the last couple years (Wilfork, Rolle, Boldin, Ochocinco, Dansby, etc.) we'd be in the Super Bowl this year... But we haven't gotten a single one because players say this all the time. And if that isn't tampering, I have no clue what is...

it doesnt matter in Aso started the Conversation if Ryan talked back to him about it then it is considered tampering
