No 1st Rd LB. I want borland

Trade back in the first and draft our RT, with that trade back pick up another 2nd and take LB Chris Borland, absolute stud and can actually stop the run unlike Shaizer, then take a guard or WR with the other 2nd.
 
Everyone wants a miniature, Caucasian, limited athletically MLB....
 
agreed Zach was the greatest MLB from the neck up, but those 24 inch arms, lack of bulk and occasional pony rides were hard to watch

Shazier is bigger and faster than Borland and doesn't have the shoulder issues. Shazier is also from Miami and his dad Vernon is the Dolphin's team chaplain. I am not sure where you get that Shazier can't stop the run??
 
Borland is slow and not good in coverage

Nothing wrong with a Zach Thomas. Has more heart leadership and instincts then any player on this defense. But no to borland
 
You can get a Borland clone in UDFA if you're that bothered by undersized, white Mikes. Jake Doughty of Utah State. Same player, 6 rounds later, appropriately valued.
 
Don't trash Z Thomas, please, I'd take a player like him every draft day

Pretty sure it's praise for ZT in saying that he was a diamond in the rough and that we're not going to get again by just drafting another undersized, white MLB that is not in the draft every day.

Ugh!

That short armed, lack of bulk, pony ridin man hit like a truck and it carried his instincts in a big way.
