no 2004 picks needed for henson

agreed that it's reasonable in the pick department, right where it should be. However, I hear he's tring to regain that 7million he left on the table from his baseball contract......that's outlandish IMO, he needs to earn that money first. I'm not ready to sign this guy to a multi-year money contract.
 
Yeah but he wants a huge contract. He hasnt proved anything. So in the long haul we would be giving up a first or third round pick and have to pay this guy like hes an all pro qb. Id rather draft a lossman or rivers IMO.
 
how much money does he realistically expect to get? he hasnt played in 3 years and nobodys really sure how he'll do.
 
That is a very reasonable deal. More than fair. Doing the contract will be tricky. But there's no way he gets out of his deal after one year. No way. A team would have to be insane to go that route.
 
why not a contract that is first year friendly? He gets a couple mil first year and then accelerates to big money if he starts by seasons end?
