Tala Esera and Julius Wilson were both 5th round projections. While neither may start, I predict both will stick and provide solid backup. Both played OT in college. They will compete for RT and both OG positions.

I also suspect we drafted Drew Mormino with the intention of playing him at Guard. He will have to beat out Hadnot, Toledo, Shelton, Stevenson, Liwienski, Parker, or Dukes. And Esera and Wilson, too, of course.

I can't wait to see what our o-line finally looks like. It's the biggest mess right now, but a mess with a bunch of potential. Cam and houck are pretty good at evaluating OL.

We have the most versatile group of young talented lineman we have had in a LONG TIME. Let's hope that Alabi develops this year. If not Carey is better than any option in free agency or the draft at LT ( besides the guy that went third - and he isn't even a Walter Jones, or Jonathan Ogden type of prospect - he was just the best LT in the draft). LJ Sheton's natural position is probably RT anyways. Mormino looks like a pretty fit 300 pounder with attitude - looked like he was getting some reps with the first team at center. Hadnot seemed to have trouble with the bull rush last year - think he may be a more natural guard. One way or another the pieces will come together cause we finally have the pieces to work with.

My guess is

LT - Carey
LG - Satele
C - Mormino
RG - Hadnot
RT - Shelton

Toledo, Alabi, Esera and perhaps Liewinski will be in the mix, Wilson will be retained in some way. We will have guards that can pull, and some attitude along the line - Toledo would have started last year I think he is just heavier than Cam wants at guard - he may end up starting at RT.

The nice thing is we have all kinds of depth on our OL now, and guys who can move around to different positions. We can develop some of the FA's and put some on the practice squad or send them to NFL Europe to gain experience and bulk up. Nice to see we got some real prospects here, and not more crybaby Manny Wrights.

I agree with ya. Ain't sit omething how before the draft, people were complaining that Cam and Randy screwed up because they hadn't addressed the O'line?
IMHO we're looking pretty good now.

I agree that Carey is our best option at LT right now.
I would be very surprised if Satele didn't start at Center.

As for LG, RG, and RT: I doubt if Cameron even knows who will be starting yet.

I definately wish we had drafted for LT. However, the one thing that is lost with the whole Ginn/Quinn debate is that the Phins drafted offense with its first 6 out of 7 picks. This is something most fans have been screaming for and the team has neglected for several years.

IMO, in two years people will view this draft/FA class as very successful from an OL perspective. Wouldn't suprise me to see 3 future starters come out of this class.
