I want to see how Saban handles his first NFL loss, and how the team responds to the first loss under Saban. I would love to see the team not take back to back losses all season. Back to back losses will kill any teams season. not having back to back losses says a lot about a teams resolve. I want to see theses guys bounce back and smash the Panthers. If the Dolphins don't have back to back losses all season then we will definitely have at least an 8-8 record. If you through a couple back to back wins then we do better than 500

I think you are going a bit overboard regarding those type of losses.

If we lose next week, will you preach "Please no back to back to back losses"?

I'm not trying to go overboard, I'm just saying that if the Dolphins can avoid back to back losses it will be great for the teams confidence. Saban has never coached a team to a losing record. I just want to see if he will carry that over to the Dolphins. No back to back losses is not to much to ask, but yes I am aware that the possibility is there.

wow, a statistical genious...

I'm with you and like what you are saying, but as I read the first part I was really hoping you wouldn't say the thing about no back to back losses equals at least and 8 and 8 season. Just struck me as funny, not trying to be a jerk...:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

I always thought that through the toughest trials come greatness. If Miami has to suffer early back to back losses to achieve something special, I'm for it.

Wow...and a guy who spells better than my pet goldfish...oh wait genius doesn't have an O...why do you peeps have to sit at your computers and bash a guy who's making a valid point. Think about it, if that's possible for you, when do teams learn more about themselves??? After a win or after a loss?? Is the team, who bought into the system after crushing denver, able to reform after a loss?? I think it's a great point. Teams that have character and heart are able to bounce back. Teams with poor leadership tend to fall into the depths when they get beaten. Which one are we?? I think this week will tell you. Us off a loss versus them off a win.

This is what I was getting at, how will the coaches respond and in turn how will the players respond to the loss and the coaches. The late coaching regime (RIP) would make excuses for the loss, and dance around why we really loss. I hope Saban will take a more stern approach both in practice this week and reviewing the game to see where the improvements can be made. There were mental short comings and and the Jets lines looked physically dominate but I believe this can be improved with proper technique.

:goof: Obviously if you do not loose any back to back games the team will be at least 8-8, but that's is only part of what I was trying to say.:goof:

This week's game is tough -- the Panthers were a good team before we won or lost against the Jets. Their strengths, especially in Dline, match up well against our weaknesses (oline).

I think Saban needs to fire them up to have a shot at this game, but it will be hard to win.

The Dolphins will only improve during the season. There is a good possibility they will go with 8 wins or better. We all see that now.
