The drops you blame on them, the off target passes you blame on Gus.

It's a combination of things, o-line, rb's, Wrs. The receivers weren't getting open quick enough, but the lack of a threatening ground game, let the Jets D concentrate at defending the receivers, and jus the front four lineman put pressure. The bad protection for the lineman, hurried Gus,and gave him constant pressure from wanting to deliver the ball when he wanted to. When the receivers did get the ball they dropped it. It's all tied together. The run blocking was bad, but Ronnie Brown could've ran harder.

There were really two passes that were not accurate by Gus and that was to Booker, and one to McMichael. The receivers were not open on the other passes he threw, he tried throwing them in spots so only the receiver could get it, but they didn't. Other ones were defensive plays from Ty Law.

darn it we should have brought in randy moss regardlee of his antics which is actually funny i would rather win with randy then loss with sloppy receiver play.

Don't forget the shovel pass that Brown dropped. He could have gotten some yards on that. Also, a screen pass where Brown was in the wrong spot. The worst though was on 2nd and 20 and driving into Jets territory. Chambers had a ball bounce off his chest for what would have been a nice15-20 yard gain and put us within field goal range or allowed us to keep driving further. Instead, we ended up punting.

Bad day for the receivers as well.

I think the WRs dropped way too many passes. Chambers is not a #1 WR, sorry, but he isn't. We need to address this. We need WR that consistently catch the ball.

Boston dropped a sure TD
Chambers dropped a 1st down on 3rd down
McMike dropped at least one
Evans dropped potential 1st down
Welker dropped sure 1 st down
Ronnie was allergic to the ball all day

We were just bad today.

That sums it up perfectly right there. We just couldn't get anything going, played like crap and could have won. Miami struggling is not unexpected but the Jets really have to worry. I am of the opinion that after 4-5 years of waiting that Chambers needs to be moved down the rotation, he is not consistent enough to be a #1 receiver. Next year we have to get one either through draft or FA. Ironic to say but the QB position is probably the most consistent position right now.

I must have missed Boston's drop..wait a minute I didnt miss a play!! What are you refering too?

How did Boston "Drop" a sure TD? Last time I checked he was double covered on what looked like a last minute resort to throw deep because of pressure..

Guys, they showed the replay like 7 times, the ball bounced off his freaking chest. It was between double coverage and Boston leaped into the air and the ball went thru his hands and bounced off his chest. This was around or inside the 5 yard line i think, so could've paid huge results.

Watch the play again, the corner gets both hands on the ball preventing it from getting to boston. IT WAS NOT A DROP!! Boston got beat to the ball.
