Not trying to toot my own horn at all, seriously:

Ya know, when I played or HAVE PLAYED any sport, I put my heart into it. I play like my life depends on it. I play like it's the last game I might ever play. I've played football on many levels. And I never put my heart into anything more than football. So how can you look at a the team you have loved and supported all of your life and expect anything less? I've done that all of my life. Literally. One: If anyone has ever played for/with me, they will know that I put my heart, my ALL into it. They will KNOW that I left nothing else but EVERYTHING. This is how I play. To watch my Dolphins let me down makes me wonder: how in the heck did I NOT play in the NFL? How in the heck can you make so much money and have so little heart? You don't have to pay me a DIME and I will play with all I have. Yo don't have to compliment me and I will play as the ultimate team player. What is WRONG with these players these days? It's embarrassing to watch. I'm old by football standards and would outplay 75% of them right NOW. What a shame the NFL has become. What an embarrassment the Dolphins have become. I'm even more sorry for Dan Marino. The last QB that ever played with true heart besides Manning and Brady (and I HATE BRADY!!).

I'm so tired of watching players not give a ****, Not diving for a pass. Not throwing themselves into tackles. Not giving their all. I LOVE FOOTBALL. I LOVE THE DOLPHINS. I have since I can remember. How can players put so little effort into winning? Do you guys, who have played any sport at ANY level remember what it is/was like to put all you had into it? TO care with every fiber of your being? To cry if you lost because you gave it all you had? What is wrong with this team? Is it lack of heart? Is it lack of desire? WTF is it? I don't get it. There has been nothing CLOSE to heart or fire from this team since week 2 or 3. Did they relax? Or did they take on the identity of the coaches? I choose the latter. I can not imagine players, even individually, not playing hard...at least the majority of them. How did this team collapse and play so poorly over the last 3/4 of the season? We're they in a state of "I don't give a ****?" Or were they trapped on a terrible scheme? I choose the latter. We definitely has some issues on both sides of the ball - no doubt. But there is no question that these issues were magnified by poor management of our capabilities. It was just horrible to watch our team crumble and literally get worse as the season progressed.

It's what happens when you care more about boy scouts and people who blindly follow orders like robots than football players. It creates an atmosphere without leadership, heart, and creativity. It becomes generic follow the course robot nonsense. That is why Tannehill doesn't run. He's supposed to be a robot in the pocket. Nobody throws their body on the line for a game outside a few people; the team shows up and then goes home. It doesn't seem like it means much to them when they are outplayed every game. It's like this team is drained of all forms of humanity. They come out flat every game.

Inadequate leadership among the players.

I don't see any leaders on this team. Tannehill? lmao not at all. Umm.......no one comes to mind. Team severely lacks heart and leadership. Failbin isn't a leader at all.

The only thing that looked good was Lamar Miller when he could get a hole. Defense looked like a dumpster fire. Our linebackers are SO bad. Only one worth keeping is Misi.

Charles clay has heart. Miller showed something today, grimes to but thats stretching it

Yes it is a said day when the fans care more about the games than the players.

I would bet the bank that the fans care more than the players. The last two games were a disgrace and it didn't seem to bother our players at all.

I agree with allot of you fans as there is no leadership player on this team. No Marino, Taylor or even a Thomas. I can't even come up with who is my favorite player on the team. This team played with no emotion in allot of these games and they seem to take on the personality of their head coach.

These players don't grow up Dolphins fans, bleeding aqua and orange like most of us. Fans always take it worse than players. It's their jobs and they are paid extremely well. It's easier to go home to a mansion and garage full of cars after missing the Playoffs then your average fan who pours their heart, soul, and money into the team and organization to be disappointed year and year. People tell me it's just a game blah blah. It's more than that to me and I take it too seriously but I don't care. Hopefully we'll all witness a SB win in our lifetimes.

I feel ya. No heart indeed. Pro football in General has been Pu##yfied for lack of better term for a while now and is now worse with Roger G. Players shouldn't get long contracts, should be performanced based and the team in General should be told to hate the other team- meaning don't help pick up or aid another player from the enemy's side. Your out to win the game. No laughing while your losing etc. If caught doing so I'd fine them 10 grand every time. They would catch the drift rather quickly.

Did you guys see on Tannehill's last interception where McKinnie went to give him a hand up, and Tannehill gave him a hi-five instead? I was on the floor laughing. Dude is in la-la land.

I'm so hyper competetive that when I was stationed at Graf, I managed to get onto the NCO Academy softball team. I played regularly unitl their "Ringer" got back. He displaced me
and rightly so. He was a monster. The manager called off the roster, and said; "SSG GoonBoss. Catcher." Catcher? Really? GIRLS ****ing play catcher in slow pitch softball.

I think he saw my reaction because he came up to me right before we went out on the field and said "SSG ____ Is better than you are, and I've got a few guys on the bench
better than you are. The difference is that you want to win, more than anyone else out there, and I don't want to lose that."

****ing motivated? Damn right motivated.

I completely get what you are saying. I think that's why I don't ****ing are about this team, and havein't since the first loss to Buffalo.
No heart. None at all. No desire to win.
