Ok, I would love to see us use our cap space to get a couple of stud players. However, if we don't manage to sign Porter or Dielman or anyone of that leave, I think we should restructure a couple of contracts to take advantage of the unused space. For instance, if Zach only has two years left on his contract, rework the contract to front load the contract and have him play for $1 million next year. This would make use of the unused cap space and put us in a position to be a MAJOR player next year. Just my random thought.....

oh, no...not yet ANOTHER season missing the playoffs! what are you waiting for? taylor and thomas to retire? no, spend the $$$ and sign Porter "and" Dielman. If no one else.

Remember Wayne said Money is no object. "The Dolphins will spend what ever it takes to put a good team on the field next season". How much did the Dolphins raise ticket and parking prices? I haven't seen or heard of the Dolphins doing anything today. I guess as usual we are waiting for the 2nd tier and 3rd tier players. Maybe we will sign all the OL guys we just cut again.

you know, why don't we just start charging to be a fan? then we could raise our salary cap by so much! I can't believe no other teams have thought of that yet... better keep it a hush hush idea :sidelol:

i'm glad we didn't pay out the arse for an overrated lineman so far anyway. lets blow our money so next year when these guys getting signed are terrible and we need another "good" lineman we'll have no salary cap room again..

I'd like to see one good signing, then save the rest of the cap room for next year. Just waiting and hoping to get someone. Man i dread the next couple weeks when there's gonna be absolutely no new nfl news.. time to sleep in front of the tv during baseball...

come on people...overpaying someone never won a super bowl...did steve hutchinson making 7 million a year, get the vikings to the super bowl?? no. did LeCharles Bentley getting loads in Cleveland, get them there? No. id rather draft, or sign a young free agent who has incredible upside...and turn him into a beast. but of course once he becomes the best player in the league, he will want the best money......sadly, the players are all after millions...i guess making one million isnt enough to pay their bills......hell i earn under 100K and i still have enough to pay my bills and enjoy life. whatever.

im just saying, im not a supporter of overpaying anyone.
