NO MARINO
The Dolphins denied a published report that owner Wayne Huizenga has asked Dan Marino to rejoin the team in an executive role. ''The story is not accurate,'' Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene said, noting Marino and Huizenga have not spoken in weeks. Even if the job were offered, Marino likely would not accept, according to a close associate of the ex-quarterback. Marino held an executive football position with the Dolphins for 22 days earlier this year before resigning.

Where do all of these contradictory stories come from ? It seems the writers put us through an endless cycle of stories and denials. It must be a slow news month.
