No More Custom Avatars??....

I've been trying to change my avatar for the last few days, and I can't get any of them to work. All I get is what you see{a red x}. I've never had this problem in the past, as I've always been able to use various custom avatars. I was curious if the board experiencing some kind of a technical problem, or if they may have they done away with the "custom avatar" option all together. Any response would be highly appreciated. Thanks....
