chambers is the reason why is production is down. not the qbs, its all chris. im sick of seeing him drop easy passes.
sammy morris looks awful. lee suggs shouldnt have been cut

Howcome no one makes threads when Wes Welker drops the ball, fumbles a punt, or is the reason for an INT?

It's like the guy has an invisible shield on this forum. Ridiculous.

I'm going to say because half of the board thought Welker should've been cut, and is the only reason our offense moves the ball half the time, while CC is coming off of a pro bowl year and was supposed to be better.

Chris Chambers is overrated and nowhere NEAR being an elite receiver in the NFL or the arena league. He vanishes for weeks at time, drops critical passes whenever he can, and achieved "superstar" status against the Bills last year, in a game that he dropped several big passes that should have cost us the game. On top of that he is afraid to make catches in the middle of the field and is timid when running deep ball routes. Chris Chambers is not as good as we think he is and not as good as he thinks he is. Saban was right to challenge his status last year and he needs to light a fire under his *** cause it only produced one good game.

Yet he was to blame for Harrington's second INT last week [or at least that's according to him], he fumbled a punt against I think Buffalo which turned the corners in that game, and he dropped a sure 1st down on 3rd & short earlier today. Welker has more drops than Chambers on the year, as does McMichael, as does Booker.

This thread is sad.

welker has never been to the pro bowl, been paid a million dollars or whined when coach said we have decent recievers. In fact he is overachieving just being on the team and gives a 110percent every play. If chambers did that, he could be one of the best in the league.

The difference is chambers is expected to be our best.

That doesn't mean anybody is off the hook for all our easy drops, its rediculous. Do they practice catching, or just crazy trick plays where the recievers punt or something.

My point, exactly. I've praised Wes Welker all year and he has been our MVP without question, but he gets the excuse for every mistake he makes. I'm tired of seeing him drop a ball and having nothing said around here.. then when Chambers or Booker drops one, there are 3-5+ threads being made.

But as for the practice issue, it does seem that way with Chambers. It seems like he gets more looks on reverses than he does in the passing game. THAT is what I call ridiculous.

I said this weeks ago about chambers that he seems to just dissapear at the worst times and drops balls and got flack so bad on here cuz of it. He is a good reciever but is wasting talent. It doesn't appear to me that he has the ability to step it up and bring it to the next level. Give me a break, there are zero shutdown corners on the jets or houston for that matter and where is he?

Why Did Chambers Just Run Out Of Bounds On The Play...hit The Damn Db!!!

Chambers is just now getting the oppurtunity to make plays. I don't think DC ever threw the ball his way. Chambers put up great numbers with a sub par QB last year. If he could get some chemistry with our new sub par QB's I think he could do the same. Chris doesn't get himself wide open, he's the type of receiver that you have to throw into coverage with and trust him to make the play, hopefully our qb's can figure that out.
