How the hell is our "genius" new coach allowing Welker anywhere near the building when he's probably gonna go play nice with Brady? How does this make any damned sense???? He comes in and gathers all this info and then goes straight to the Evil Empire and spills his guts????? STOP IT NOW!!!!!!!
 
Dude players from different teams practice together all the time. Hell some of our players were catching passes from Geno in the off-season. Not to mention we aren't going to show specifics in open to media practices.
 
No problem with having Welker teach receiver how to read coverages or run routes. I doubt he would be brought in to teach players the playbook.
 
I know, but he's not a current player who has an inherent competitive interest in keeping his team's "secrets" protected while practicing with guys from other teams. Clearly Welker has an allegiance to Brady and the Pats, it just makes me ... ahem...... queasy ( thank you Joe Philbin).
 
I'm sure with welkers scrambled eggs for brains, that he can't remember any dolphins playbook info to give belicheat anyways.

I'd rather have them covering the pats rather than stroking the egos of Jerruh or Rexie's egos... but that is just me.
 
Sofa_King_Drunk - What has happened is that we now have an extremely popular guy as our new Head Coach. Visits from Wes Welker and Peyton Manning are not to extract info to use against us. These guys are good friends of Adam Gase, who helped them in their careers and they are turning up to support and try to help him.
 
This post makes no sense.

The Dolphins will either step up beat the patriots or not - nothing Welker tells Brady bunch about our team will make one iota of difference in the outcome of either Dolphin Patriot game this season or any other season.

Besides that Welker seems like a good person - strong for his size - a hell of an athlete - and at least he did not waste his career on the Dolphins which has been one of the WORSE franchises in professional sports for a couple of decades or more - leave the guy ALONE!

Thanks for coming and helping the Dolphins Welker - and I mean it!
 
The issue isn't isn't the spying aspect at all; it is the bitter history that we as fans remember, and will remember for a long, long time.

A new coach comes in and is completely insensitive to how the fans feel about Welker,and he invites him to hang out at Dolphins practice. It is totally effin bs and somebody should have told Gase that inviting in a guy like Welker is going to offend some people. In my case, I hate having that mouthy little scumbag around the Dolphins.

Gase!! get a clue.
