I have noticed in the last few weeks that there has been a lot of love being dished out for former dolphins around the league. Chambers for one getting a lot of the attention obviously cuz we r playing the Chargers. But i do see a good amount being sent Zack's way too. Now I am in total agreement for both and feel both are very deserving of the any praise they get from phin fans as both contributed 100% all the time when they were here. Chambers is one of my favorite phins and well Zach is Zach and one of the best to EVER wear a phins uniform. (Ya i know there are quite a few but Zach is up there with the best IMO and i doubt that n e one is trying to argue this point.)

Anyhow my point is that I have noticed that since Jason Taylor has left, its like he is completely forgotten about. I have to say at first i did feel sorry for JT a bit (B4 the trade), he had given his all every single time he took the field and felt he deserved a ring (like Zach). I had hoped he would sign with a contender and get a shot. He was a leader of this team for a long time and a true competitor. But since his trade it seems that he has been throw in the rear view and no one really seems to mind or care if he succeeds or not. I think a lot of this is due to his stupid shenanigans in the offseason and i think at this point most could agree that he wanted to leave just didn't have the balls like Zach (who straight up asked for a release cuz he knew that he didn't want to spend his final years on a rebuilding team) to tell the Big Tuna. He did tell BP to trade him if he could (although he made is sound like he still wanted to stay here but the truth seems far from that)

I doubt that any person in the organization (owner, coaches, players or fans) would have found it offensive or thought of him a as a traitor seeing that we all knew it was rebuilding time and his time playing is/was running out soon. At this point I'm glad we didn't just cut him cuz we got a nice 2nd rounder out of it (seems like its probably gonna be a top half pick too  ) and it looks like his knee is setting him up for a retirement season.

A huge part of me wants Dallas to go to the SB just for Zachs sake (Provided that the Fins aren't there that is...GO PHINS!). But there is not a single part of me that cares whether or not JT gets one or even a shot at it like I do for Zach. His selfishness in the offseason (although an almost non existent characteristic of JT throughout his time here) seems to have turned a lot of people off one could say.

But do you fans feel like his antics throughout the offseason changed your views about JT?

He will get the love back after he retires, there is still a bitter taste left in a lot of peoples mouth.

That will change the day he retires

When he left, he displayed little class. That wasn't the case for Chambers or Zach.

I have no love for any other team to win the superbowl, now if Dallas wins it I'll be happy for ZT just as if Washington or Sd were to win it. Please tell me you weren't rooting for NE to win because of W.Welker. There's only one team that gets all the love for a chance at the Superbowl and that's a fact.

LOL...I dont root for any team other than my beloved phins...like i said i would only cheer for Zach (not Dallas) IF the phins arent in the SB. i have ZERO love for any player that goes to someone else in the division...Zach turned down an offer to play for NE b/c he was a true phin although he could have assumed a SB was almost a given at the time since Brady was still standing upright. Welker played well for us but hes not real dolphin or else he would never have gone to NE. That also goes for all the other idiots that went to NE, NY, or Buff (i.e. Sammy Morries, Barnes, etc.) and just to add I HATE NE, Jets, Bills, and the other 28 teams in the League.

Well, we need time to get some love back. Right now, if the Skins do bad, we get a better pick, so we root against em.

And if JT does bad, it makes us look like we made a good trade, and makes us feel much better.
And also with how little class he left. As far as I know, ZT, and Chambers were traded. JT traded himself pretty much

It seemed like something inside JT changed around the time him and Kitrina started having problems. I dont if her unhappiness was a result of this change or it was caused it but it seems like the two are related. His ego became larger then the team. He became prima-donnaish. He left a bad taste in alot of fans mouths, myself being one of them. He seemed to have no desire to be apart of the change taking place here and he got what he wanted. Personally I did not care for his conduct but I wish him the best. He gave us many good years and I respect and appriciate that. His desire may be rekindled now that he has a change of scenery.

I think the lost love for JT is alot more based on the way he handled himself this offseason. At least thats how I feel and how I see it.

Its almost as if he cried his way out like a spoiled child. I know we heard him say how he will always be a phin at heart and how he will always love the phins, but the day he was traded it surely didn't show and he seemed more happy to be on his way out. He is a professional football player and should stick to being one, but I think the Drama from hollywood seemed to have rolled over onto the football field for him.

Yea, and I only became a Fins fan a couple of years ago, so he hasnt been an amazing player since I started watching.

He used us for his stupid dance competition, and then cast us aside like trash. He lied to BP and the fans as to his true intentions, and killed what would have been possible pre-draft trades etc. He is just one of those stinking over-payed egotistical atheletes at this point...pi** on him!!!

i felt the same way about Taylor until i heard him inteviewed on Sirius Radio. He was doing a spot for DirectTV. When asked what NFL teams he would DVR (the hosts ensenuated upcoming opponents), he said No...i will only tape the Dolphins, i know alot of guys on that team and hope to see them do well.

He didnt need to say that...but that shows some class.

wow! Alot of you guys have short memories, this is a guy who came out and played his arse off for this team for multiple years and was an excellent football player. He never complained or shouted his mouth off, he was a model professional and did a huge amount for the community outside of football. If you had a blueprint for a professional football player he wouldn't be far off. He only has a few years left and the team was completely rebuilding, im more than happy for him to go and chase his ring, good for him he deserves it, more so than many ex players. He probably would have held back the teams progression by staying. But i'll say this if the dolphins and bill really really wanted him to stay despite the fact he knew he wouldn't win a ring i think he would have come back. But people forget that the trade made sense for us as well and bill didn't exactly go out of his way to make him return. Good luck to him a great talent and a true dolphin.
