no more milloy

I'm not sure how high our interest was in Milloy, but we could be posed to draft a safety, or if one is not available at the time....going with someone on the team already, such as Bell starting, and newly signed Hill could float back to safety.

He signed for like the same price we signed Hill for so I think if Saban wanted him he would have got him. Hill is alot younger and there is probably more upside with him when he plays SS more

According to some sources, we plan on playing Hill at FS. He has played there in the past.

Also, reports in the Sun-Sentinel say we entertained Will Allen today. If true, and signed, then I could see us drafting a SS early in Day 1 (Rd 1) and then a CB in Rd 3.

I thought he played SS, But I have no real idea other than I thought I read it somewhere. Hmmmm has Hill played SS or FS more? Cause finding this out would either elimante Schulters or Tank and other prospects.

Yeah, normally with a guy going between Safety and Linebacker like he did last year with the Raiders, He will probably be a better SS.

Renaldo Hill is 5'11, 190. He certainly is no linebacker. I am almost positive he rotated between CB and FS.

hill is a fs/cb. He will play fs for us. Milloy is a good player just old.

This article is a few days old, and was before he was officially signed but this is what I was referenceing. I don't think he would play the same role in our defensive scheme though.

..."A seventh-round pick by Arizona in 2001, Hill played with the Cardinals for four seasons before joining the Raiders last year. He has nine interceptions and has averaged 56 tackles, but last year the 5-foot-11, 190-pounder notched a career-high 89 in a strong safety/linebacker role."
