no more platooning

ronnie brown with 26 carries and 131 yards, 5 yds a carry. that is what he could have after one game the only problem those are his stats for the past 2 games. im sick of this ronnie 1a and ricky 1b thing. ricky should be the back up its that simple. all i see is ronnie coming in for a drive then ricky then ronnie then ricky and so on. yeah its great that ronnie gets a rest but this could also screw up his rhythm he sits on the sidelines too long and he could get tight. saban has to have his number 1 back and it should be ronnie yesterday he had 3 less carries than ricky and ricky looked horrible. enough with the platooning!! its great we have ricky to give ronnie a breather or if ronnie gets hurt but only if he needs it not during drives. this taking turns thing on each drive is ridiculous and it has to stop. you dont switch qb's every drive and you shouldnt do it with rb's especially with a rb like ronnie averaging 5 yds a carry. give him the damn ball 20- 25 times. shaun alexander had 33 carries yesterday and ripped up the rams ronnie is capable of the same thing.

I would like to see Ronnie get 20 carries a game and give Ricky 10, the rest can be all the passes linehans little heart disires.

Agreed. Ronnie should be getting the ball more than he has...

Ronnie should get the majority of the carries regardless of how, either: Ricky as a 3rd down back, or somethign like the Cheifs were doing, Priest for 2 series, Larry johnson for 1, I'd like to see something like Ronnie for 3 or more series, then Ricky for 1.
