Hi guys,

i read an article at sportingnews.com which says that the fins will not adress the o-line in FA. the plan ist to improve the lin through the draft and an "high skilled" player through FA. they think houck could improve the line without spending much money so the fins can go shopping in FA.

do you think that´s realistic? I don´t think the fins will draft two or more o-liner in the first 4 rounds.

note: am a german, so please don`t mind the bad english

No prob with the English fin BRo!! I think Saban would make a pitch at Steve Hutchinson but i really think If he cannot address the position we are fine at Oline Houck is doing a great job

I hope we get a chance at LeCharles Bentley. It would lock up the center position for years to come.
Latest word is that he wants to play for Cleveland, but that New Orleans may franchise him.

I do not see any big names in the FA pool this year. Hutch and Bently will both either be tagged or re-signed. Our current group is adequate enough till some young blood gets flowing....

I do remeber a quote from Houck saying that he's not a miracle worker, but that you will see most of the results of his hire at the end of his second season here...That bodes well for the guys that we already have...

I dont think the report is true. I remember last offseason hearing that Miami was willing to pony up the money for Walter Jones or Orlando Pace if they managed to reach the market.I think the same would hold true for Guards, as well.

Personally, I like the concept of getting Hutchinson alot. Who doesnt, though? He is a great Guard who could possibly end up being another on the list of HOFers who have played under Houck.

I dont like Bentley as much. We've got two young and talented players in Wade Smith and Rex Hadnot who are fits at Center, and Bentley isnt the kind of player I'd expect Miami to want at Guard.

I'd rather have Nick Mangold at center...as for Huchinson, that's just dreaming....they won't let him go and if they do, he'll want a lot of money.....he maybe the best guard since John Hannah.

Ozzy rules!!

Isn't that contradicting?

I think Rex is fine at Center what we need is a big Right guard to replace him. We could put James over at Right Guard and sign Bently/Hutchison. I would be very happy with that.
