No one calling out Cam Wake or Soliai?

Cam Wake has shown no resemblance at all from last year he doesn't seem to have to burst of last year at all or the play. his sack from new england was a gimmie and got schooled by the rookie, i barely saw pressure from him vs the browns. for all the people who thought he was a demarcus ware ( not even close )

Soliai ? dude plays soft glad we didn't give him a extension i wouldn't even mind having starks play NT once in a while maybe for once we can blow up there center at least stark plays aggressive and has a burst.

just wanted to add jason taylor to this list at all... its LAUGHABLE at his pass rush specialist title he's terrible gets no pressure at all he's washed up and he was one of the worse signing by this front office this off-season.

he does need to become more than a one-trick pony, but you can't question his motor

we have a ****ty HC and we drafted 1,000 3-4 DE's instead of mixing in an OL or what have you

leave it at that
 
I'm wondering if Soliai came into camp in such great shape that it actually was a bad thing.. as in not enough fatty power anymore
 
Soliai has been getting a little extra attention.

The Pats game they did a good job of keeping him off the field a lot. Against the Texans, Soliai was double teamed almost every time the Texans went play action.

Soliai hasn't been great, but he hasn't been horrible either. Our whole DL is under performing.
 
Wake is being held constantly and there is no other pass rush besides him. Solder didn't school him, he was basically tackling him but not getting called for it since he blocks for Brady.

Every supreme pass rush specialist gets held on every play.

Wake has shown us nothing as far as improving technique and getting new moves is concerned. There is now a lot of film on him, and so far this season, he has done everything opposing blockers have expected him to.

You can make excuses but he was schooled by Solder no doubt about it whatsoever
 
I don't know, other than Starks I really haven't seen anyone else on the DL do too much. Where Odrick been?
 
Add LANGFORD to the list of players whose play has dropped off
the face of the earth with Soliai and Wake...funny how all 3 were
looking for contract extensions/new contracts

You'ld think playing for a contract would result in better play

I'm the last one to deny that our team sucks right now, but Solder's "dominance" is nothing more than the media's "make Belichick look like a genius at any possible opportunity" complex at work. It's easy to look "dominant" when you're allowed to straight up tackle with nothing being called. Of course, the first time Incognito even looks at someone's shoulder pads, you better believe he gets called. There's definitely benefits to blocking for Tom Brady.
 
Cam Wake is the one person on the defense I wouldn't be questioning. Even when he is being contained, he is still busting his balls until the play is over. If you want to call out LB's start calling out Koa Misi who offers noting rushing the passer. Also the D-Line is not generating enough of a push up front in passing situations.
 
I am starting to see that we have no one special on this team......we have a team of good players or over acheivers.......I though Wake was special but he only has one move to the QB and in this league that means you should be a part time player......Solia is robbing ross with his 12 million but that was the FO decision to franchise him......Solia is good but nothing special in the middle....
