the face of the earth with Soliai and Wake...funny how all 3 were
looking for contract extensions/new contracts

Three things:

1) Wake has been dropping back in coverage a lot more than last year.

2) Pressure doesn't always mean sacks. He has been improving every game at pressuring the QB.

3) The importance of a pass rusher doesn't always show up in *his* stat sheet. Others have been getting better matchups because of the attention paid to Wake, most notably Langford and Starks. They've both have had good games.

No doubt.

I feel our entire front 7 have been under preforming all year, but for what we expect of Wake and Soliai, they should do vastly better.

The thing I see or noticed in Wake this year is that he is using a bull rush more than that around the corner speed move he uses. I don' know why but maybe he's bieng told to do so.
