Im very happy with the season the dolphins have had and also with making the playoffs. Way more than I expected. With that being said I think if we don't get to the 5 seed to play the Texans we will be in a world of trouble. The teams that we have beaten have a combined of 39-80-1. With Good wins over the steelers and winning in buffalo. But some bad loses against Cincy and getting absolutely embarrassed by the ravens.

other games:
Lost 10-12 @ Seattle. In my opinion we outplayed them and gave the game away.

lost 24-31 @ NE. This one really wasn't as close as the score makes it look. We got dominated than made a little comeback when jimmy G came out.

won 30-24 vs Cleveland. Honestly, we should of been their first win. Multiple missed FGS by the browns including a game winner.

lost 17-30 vs Tennessee. Didn't get to watch this game so can't really go into what I think but a mediocre to good team. So it's not a horrible loss

won 28-25 vs buffalo. Always tough opponent so good win

won 27-23 vs NYJ. Should never be this close when we play them. Horrible team with horrible QB play

won 31-24 @ San Diego. Mad props to our defense in that 4th quarter but a bigger thank you to Phillip rivers for having a epic 4th quarter meltdown lol

win against LA and SF are also games that shouldn't of been that close

win against AZ- probably my favorite win of the year. I live in AZ so I watch all there games. Don't get me wrong there not a good team but they definitely have their weeks where they look really good. I felt like they played good that week and we outplayed them. Even with tannehill coming out of that game.

win against the jets- great game from Moore.

this weeks win against the bills- this game does give me some hope because wow what a gutty performance. Those type of games are the games have never won.

what I'm worried about is we play the steelers in Pittsburgh and get embarrassed like the ravens embarrassed earlier this season. I think we're a good team but we look bad at times and I want everyone to see that this season wasn't a fluke.

So are you guys worried? Tell me what you think about our season and your expectations for us in the playoffs.

AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL

Personally, I am not worried we went from 1-4 to 10-5 over the last 10 games. This with an injured team and injured oline when we played some of the top defensive lines and patchwork offseason team, 1st-year head coach and we lost our starting QB and still pulled off last 2 wins. I don't care what other fans say this season was a success based on the situation.

That's what I left out, coaching. Wow what great hires.

It's safe to say if no one got injured and we had the same record we would be exceeding expectations. Definitely a pleasant surprise.

Im happy regardless. We're playing with house money as far as I'm concerned.

What's going to happen will happen! No sense of getting worried. They will go out and play and the outcome will be what it is.

Worried about what?

Just don't be the guy that thinks this team failed if they don't win the Super Bowl or even the Wild Card game.

Season has been a tremendous success and this taste of the playoffs is icing on the cake. If we want more than a taste, hey I am cool with that as well

The Gase hiring turned this team around.
In years past under Philbin and Sparano, we would have been 6-10 with this group.

Thanks for the recap on the season. It's not like I already watched every game or anything.

We've already gone far beyond expectations for me...getting in the playoffs will help get this team, young as it is, some playoff experience they can build on for next year. If we were to win one of these guys that would be outstanding but I have no delusions of making it to the super bowl.

I'm not worry about Pitt. We beat them before and can do it again. Will it be easy? No. We're going to be the underdog big time and that's fine with me.

Ozzy rules!!

I'm not worried because this team has already vastly exceeded expectations, put up one of the best records in the league despite the injuries and holes in the roster, confirmed that we have an HC who's the real deal, and in turn demonstrated that this QB guru is developing Tannehill and has to a point where over the 7-1 run, he put up mostly top 10 QB level numbers, so there's great hope for the future.

Given that, any wins beyond this point will be icing on an already tasty cake for me.

Way too happy with the team's accomplishments this year to be worried. Being worried at this point is just a huge waste of energy. It won't change anything.

Yeah, ban anyone who dare posts any recaps!!

:rolleyes2:

Ajayi had a total of 18 carries in the first 4 games and didn't even travel to Seattle. In addition, they are no longer running an up tempo offense. The identity of this team has been forged since week 6. Obviously those first 5 games count for their season record, but anyone that assesses this team based on those 5 games is making a huge mistake.
