No PAC 12 in the CFP

That Utah vs Oregon game exposed just what a fraud Oregon was. Wonder if it chases Cristobal back to Florida.

Yet, The Ducks beat Tosu w/o Thibodeaux

Cristobal IMO is reasonably content at the U of Nike. That said, he might return home if the Canes make an ungodly offer

p.s. It bothers me that the only time the PAC12 gets love is when Stanford and/or USC are the dominate teams

Ohio State's defense was absurdly bad the first month. Changes made and its much improved.

I'm thinking Florida not Miami for Cristobal.

Pac 12 needs to schedule better non-conference match ups shown in EST Prime Time or afternoon. Not often is there a good match up involving a Pac 12 team that's not on late. I only watched the Oregon and Utah game because no other attractive games were on. Utah did look good in that game.

MC has ties to that school in Coral Gables.

Part of the P12's issues are geography. Last Saturdays game ended at approx 9:00 local. Typically, when they end its early Sunday Morning on the east coast.

I was flipping between Ducks/Utes, Auburn/S Carolina, & Tx Tech/Ok State. I did not expect the 1st half of the Utah game to end the way it did. There are times when I confuse Kyle Whittingham for Dave Wannstedt

Well Oregon had a playoff spot right in their hands (even after losing to a 3 win Stanford team) but they managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by getting run out of the stadium by Utah.

After that, there's just not any room in the playoff for a 3 loss Pac-12 team that has losses to a MWC team and BYU on their resume.

A 3 loss team isn't getting in to a 4 team playoff even if it's an SEC team.

Cristobal wanted the Miami job but they hired Richt instead. Not sure how that will sit with Mario. Regardless, I think Nike will throw an absurd amount of money on the table for him to stay.

I am not delusional in thinking the Utes will make the top 4.

My goal for them are to annually contend for the Rose Bowl (getting closer IMO) w/ trips to the Holiday or Alamo as consolations.

This year, its ironic... They finally lost to Breed 'em young and may make the Rose Bowl.

That said, The current projection of playing Baylor in the Alamo bowl is fine with me.

Edit - I'm pleased w/ my alma mater and the progress they have made since I was in High School. They used to be breed 'em young's doormat & had go to Laramie every other yr.... which I'm sure is the equivalent of going to Starkville or College Station

Utah is getting a heck of a player in Ryan Peppins. I watched him last night again as Thompson 3-peated as 7A state champions. He's small - too small for any SEC teams to really make him a priority, but so incredibly explosive.

I think he went 7/203/2TD's last night against an undefeated Central-Phenix City in the state championship game.

Reminds me of the Deven Thompkins kid at Utah St. that led the country in receiving this year.

I wondered if you had any insight on Peppins. It is appreciated

He should takeover for Britain Covey as Slot Receiver/Returner. Covey IMO will probably be a UDFA & work his way onto an FL roster return specialist to start. I may be biased but Covey is already better than Jakeem Grant.

I don't follow Utah St much. My priories are Utah & the SEC.... not necessarily in that order

p.s. I doubt The U beats the University of Nike Again tomorrow night
